Edit:Even poorer quality than I first thought.After only a few days up the screws have completed rusted & the bracket to hold it in place has slipped down.I've tried everything to try and keep it in place but nothing works. It falls back down the pole within hours of adjusting it! Only place it's fit for is the bin!Initially when you put the first 2 parts together its quite easy. Until you try & attach the bracket to your bird table pole.Unless the pole diameter on your feeder is around 10cm the bracket will just slide down.I managed to make it fit by wrangling it with some pliers but now you've got the most difficult part to try & navigate!Trying to fix the last three screws onto the baffle whilst on the pole is virtually impossible!If, like me you can't use the clear dome baffle I'd advise spending the extra few pounds getting the metal baffle. So much easier & sturdier.If I hadn't bent the bracket trying to make it fit the pole I would of returned it!

All you get sent is the plastic cone pieces disassembled. There is no hardware kit. The picture shows you that there is one. But you have to figure out your own way to put it together.

Good quality, easy to put up on a bird feeder pole, squirrel guard for your bird feeder. However, I had to return it on this occasion, because it does not fit a wooden post. It is well constructed for pole bird feeders and will last for a long time and deters squirrels from reaching the bird food.

I will start by saying that I have one of these (different brand) that I got last spring. It was black and did not last but a week, or so, before it deformed so much from the sun that it became scrunched and almost flat. (I live in the Pacific Northwest and the sun is not nearly as intense as in some areas of the country.) Still, it continued to work in keeping the squirrels from shimmying up the pole, but it just doesn’t look very nice. This one, though, seems to be made from a material that is a bit thicker, so I will find out next year when the sun gets more intense. It comes with the necessary hardware and it is pretty intuitive in the way it goes together and does so quickly and easily. (Having said that I do have the advantage of past experience in putting one of these together.)Something I have learned is to mount the baffle just above the height that a squirrel can jump, whether from the ground or a nearby shrub. I have mine at about 4.5 feet above the ground and no shrubs close by that are sturdy enough to provide the little guys a sturdy launching pad.I will update this next spring/summer if the sun deforms it like my last one. For now though, it seems to be working just fine.

Plastic is already breaking after one week. Not sure why they used this kind of plastic that cracks.
