Used to cover the cables for a Victron 100/30a MPPT installed in the external storage tub on a travel trailer which doubles as the battery enclosure. Does a great job protecting the cables and terminal entry from accidental impacts etc from other objects in the enclosure. Suprisingly robust and very high quality like most Victron gear.Couple of sizes of Wirebox, make sure you get the one that matches your controller.One thing that caught me off guard, there are a couple of black plastic "screws" in the back of the MPPT controller that are placeholders for the mounting screws for the wirebox. Make sure you remove these and just discard them, use the metal screws that came with the wirebox to mount it to the MPPT.

The Victron 100/50 MPPT solar charge controller has exposed wire connections that could be a hazard if accidentally touched. As our solar panel setup is designed to be portable rather than a fixed installation, this cover for the "wirebox" is made to fit on this charge controller and adds safety to our wiring. My only complaint is that Victron, being a leader in solar equipment, should have included since it with the controller since it is a safety issue. For this reason, I should have downgraded the rating. Even so, it is a good product and it meets my needs.

To start, I took off a star for two reasons: the price, the instructions.This cover is practically something that should come with the charge controllers from the factory, not be an add-on. The instructions also do not indicate that when attaching the metal bracket to the back of the unit, you need to replace the screws used to mount it (not reuse the ones that are already there). If you use the preexisting screws, it will tighten up enough that some people may not realize that the screw are screwed into almost nothing and the bracket may let go in the future.That being said, the quality is good. The wires are well secured and hidden when you attach this cover to your existing controller.

My charge controller is installed near a faucet and in an area that is used daily so this was exactly what I needed. Fit and finish are very good. Completely covers terminals and secures wires. I'm happy.
