Have tried a few other types of controllers for solar charging to caravan and after a bit of faffing about and not gaining sufficient charge to off grid sites went for one of these. There are different variations to match your needs but these bad boys rinse every particle of energy being produced and tuck it into your battery for later use. The Bluetooth has its benefits and give you history of charge/solar panel captivation and +- battery charge levels. Its a bit of overkill but did buy a second for a spring project for the shed.

Der Solarregler ist sehr gut. Ich betreibe inzwischen schon den 3.Regler von Victron jeweils als Insellösungen und bin von deren Arbeitsweise begeistert. Der letzte ist in seiner Abeitsweise und Reaktionszeit sehr schnell, was gut ist für die Akkus.

Da bin ich doch mal glatt drauf reingefallen:SmartSolar oder BlueSolar... Welcher hat wohl das Bluetooth-Modul gleich mit drin? Richtig! Natürlich der SmartSolar.Daher musste ich den BlueSolar leider zurückschicken. Passt also auf beim Ladereglerkauf!(Der SmartSolar ist dann Spitze, daher gebe ich auch hier pro Forma mal 5* bei allem außer eben Bluetooth).

Solid device, keep in mind "bluesolar" doesnt have bluetooth, if you're looking to monitor the device without extra cables and devices you'll buy "smartsolar" wish I was smart because now Im blue (or actually not) my only complaint about these units is the terminals, wires tend to easily pull out if not secured otherwise, also they use flat head screws, which are annoying. Would have preferred a terminal bolt or other attachment means that could accommodate a small lug or spade connection

This is my first foray into the MPPT solar world, and it was a great start without compromising quality, or having enourmous expense up front.I've had this controller for about a year now, and I'm quite happy with it's performance. It has certainly made a large difference in the amount of energy I'm able to harvest from my tiny 30W panel, especially at lower charge voltages. The unit is built reasonably solidly, can't say I have any real complaints about it.
