Super easy install. We did not have power to our doorbell area, so originally purchased the battery operated blink doorbell. However, it ate batteries left and right. This was a great solution.

This power supply works well for running the Blink doorbell and I no longer have to buy expensive batteries. My biggest pro for this is that other than during power outages, I no longer experience the sudden loss of the doorbell and camera when it's needed the most.My installation is one with the doorbell attached to the door rather than the wall beside the door frame. I have placed aluminum tape (for metal ducts) over the flat cable as it goes round the backside of the door, between the hinges, for protection against pinching the wires. There is a large loop of cable (about 1.5" diameter) between the door and the frame to allow the door to open without overly stressing the cable.
