I bought this fuel cap because someone else's review said it works for a Honda 2.3 hp outboard with the integral fuel tank. It did fit on the tank and seemed to screw on tight. Even with the vent closed it still leaked fuel from this outboard when it was laid on its side, so I wouldn't recommend it for this motor.

It is useless to me. Called a universal cap, it does not come close to fitting on my Mercury 4 HP outboard.A complete waste of time and money
