Never seen an ultrasonic sensor that looks like this. Apparently this model even has a waterproof case you can get for it, so you could attach it to the underside of an RC boat and find all the fish.If you google "DYP-A02-V2" you can find the data sheet for this module, it has some useful information.The range is 3 cm to 4.5m, it uses an average of about 8 milliamps, it is unaffected by the material properties of the reflected surface (even if it's transparent, or a funny texture it doesn't matter). It also compensates for different temperatures (apparently).

I was hoping to use this with an ESP32 device that has goove connectors or an Arduino that uses Dupont connector, however this has a different connector and no option to use Dupont wires. I therefore can't say if it's good or not.
