This is a great addition for your Apple Mac Mini. in use it sits under the Mini and to be honest looks like it is part of it.It offers a lot of expansion including extra high speed USB ports/ card slots and the NVMe slot underneath giving you a fair bit of extra storage.Speeds are good and I can't really see any downsides, the only thing I would have maybe liked would be a detachable cable instead of the captive one, I know it makes it neater but being able to replace the cable if needed would have been nice, this is a really great addition and I would recommend it.

If you have a Mac Mini M4, you will appreciate its powerful performance, but you might need more connectivity than the Mac design gives you, and that's where this excellent dock/hub comes in.Your Mac Mini sits on top of the dock, which matches the design and shape of the Mac beautifully, and a very short USB C cable connects Mac and dock. That's it. There's nothing else to install. Now you have enough ports, the dock having occupied one rear USB C port on the Mac, and given you 2 USB-C ports (10Gbps), 3 USB-A ports (10Gbps), 2 USB-A ports (5Gbps), an SD card reader and a TF card reader. In case you attach a device that needs a powered port, there is also a USB-C power input so you can power the dock.And there's more: on the underside of the dock you can install an M2 NVMe SSD (several lengths are supported), thus giving you a low-cost way to add a second disk to the Mac. You even get the small screwdriver you will need. Right now, I have two external SSDs attached to my Mac Mini. I wish I'd had this dock from the start.A nice touch: The dock has a cut-out so that you can operate the Mac Mini's power switch without having to tip the thing up. In summary -- a great add-on for a Mac Mini M4, keeping its good looks and making the user's life easier.

The UGREEN Mac Mini M4 Dock with NVMe SSD Enclosure, 11-in-1 USB C Hub arrived nicely packaged.When I first unpacked this product the build quality impressed me—it feels sturdy, well-designed, and blends perfectly with the Mac Mini's look. It almost looks like it was made by Apple themselves, which is a massive win.Setting up this dock was super easy. The Mac just sits on the dock, plug the cable in and it instantly expanded my port options. I haven't got a spare NVMe SSD yet, so I'm not sure what the speeds are like just yet. But it does supports up to 8TB, Which is awesome! This will be fantastic for large media files or large backups, such as time machine etc.One feature I really appreciated is the front-facing SD and TF card slots. As someone who's an avid photographer in he's spare time, any time spared it's appreciated.The extra USB-A and USB-C ports have been a lifesaver for connecting multiple peripherals—everything from external drives to my audio interface. No lag, no hiccups. The dock even includes a thoughtful groove design for easy access to the Mac Mini's power button. It's a small touch, but one that's deeply appreciated!I personally think the power button underneath the Mac mini M4 was a design oversight! I'm not sure what Apple was thinking in the R&D of this product! but adding this dock, means you don't have to lift the Mac mini up anymore to turn the product on.Overall, this dock doesn’t just add ports—it transforms your Mac Mini into a fully functional workshorse. If you’re a creative professional or just want a clean, powerful setup, I highly recommend this UGreen dock.⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Eigentlich perfekt. Das dadurch entstehende "Türmchen" ist leider leicht wackelig, was aber eher der Bauform des Mac Mini M4 geschuldet ist.Durch den SSD-Einbauschacht, in den ich eine 1 TB NVMe-SSD eingebaut habe, steht mir nun etwas Extraspeicher zur Verfügung, den ich als Dateiablage nutze.Insgesamt empfinde ich die Dockingstation als brauchbaren Zugewinn.

A quality product that delivers. My Mac Mini connected straight away and throughput is fast. Only but is that the connecting USB cable is fixed and only 2” long - probably not a problem for most people - but I wanted this dock to sit below another drive I use for time m/c backup. Simple to sort by buying a USB female/male extension cable but added £10 to the cost.

Passt perfekt. Der MacMini verrutscht nicht. Funktioniert einwandfrei.Es sind ja die kleinen Details, die zeigen, dass Qualität geliefert wird. Schrauben, die nur locker angezogen sind, da man sie für den Einbau sowieso gleich lösen muss. Schrauben mit gefrästen Köpfen und eine - noch nie gesehen - riesige Schraube für die Befestigung der SSD. Im Gegensatz zu anderen Produkten, die ich kenne sind auch die Schlitze für die Speicherkarten präzise verarbeitet. Es knarzt nicht beim Hineinschieben.Ganz positiv: Der Anschluss für den MacMini ist ein separates Kabel, das exakt an den Anschluss passt, der zu verwenden ist. Es wird kein zusätzlicher Anschluss am Dock belegt.Die Frage nach dem "Ladeanschluss" ist in der Artikelbeschreibung nicht ganz klar: Es ist ein USB-C IN für die optionale Stromversorgung, die auch leistungshungrige Geräte am Dock versorgen kann. Kann, aber muss nicht verwendet werden.Auch wenn Apple findet, dass man den Schalter am Boden kaum verwendet: Die Aussparung am Dock ist Gold wert.

Ich war schon länger auf der Suche nach einer soliden Port-Erweiterung für meinen Mac Mini m4 Pro und habe diese Docking-Station von UGREEN gefunden. Von der Verarbeitung gibt es hier absolut nichts zu bemängeln. Das Gehäuse wirkt wie von Apple selbst gefertigt und fügt sich nahtlos unter den Mini. Die Belüftung wird hier nicht blockiert. Toll ist auch die Aussparung für den Power-Button. Endlich muss ich den Mac Mini nicht jeden Tag anheben, um ihn einzuschalten. Vor allem für die Fotografie finde ich hier die beiden SD- und microSD Kartenslots an der Front einen wahren Segen. Übrigens sind diese ziemlich flott beim Übertragen von Fotos von der Kamera auf den Mac. Die paar USB-A Anschlüsse, die man bekommt, sind toll - auch sind USB-C-Anschlüsse an Bord, diese jedoch mit maximal 10GBit. Es ist also kein Thunderbolt 4 oder schneller. In meinem Fall brauche ich das aber nicht. Ich arbeite meist mit den Dateien lokal auf dem Mac Mini und, sobald die Bilder bearbeitet und exportiert wurden, kopiere ich diese einfach auf die NVME SSD im Dock. Das ist mir persönlich schnell genug, da ich dort einfach nur Daten speichere und nicht damit lokal arbeite. Preis-Leistungstechnisch finde ich das Dock eine tolle Ergänzung zum Mini 4 bzw. Mini 4 Pro. Die Verarbeitung ist top, die Anschlüsse mehr als genug und zudem gibts auch die SSD Erweiterung, und das alles zu einem Kampfpreis. Ich bin mehr als glücklich mit der Docking-Station und hoffe, dass sie sehr lange halten wird. Nun ist der "Kleine" so groß wie ein Mac Studio und um einige Anschlüsse reicher. Bravo! Absolute Kampfempfehlung meinerseits.
