I got the impression that the lens mount is not fully compliant with the specifications for the E-mount, and didn't want to risk damaging the camera. For this reason, I returned the lens. Compared to my Sony lenses, some force was needed to mount and dismount this lens. Sony's help guide states "Do not use force when attaching a lens." That is, using force shall not be needed.YouTube is full of review videos for this lens, but I've not seen any complaining about this issue. Hence, it could be a faulty batch. I contacted TTArtisan regarding the issue, but only got the unsatisfactory answer that I didn't need to worry as long as I purchased the correct mount version and a confirmation that mounting could be "a little tight" for some camera/lens combinations.

I am not an expert and I am sure there is a lot of imperfections about this lens. It is a love it or hate it type of thing and I for sure am loving it on my Sony a6700. makes odd imperfect photos which you can not create easily otherwise.

I have alfa 5100 and the autofocus works fine! This can be setting issue at other users.

Un objectif "portrait" avec un bokeeh parfait. Je l'utilise sur un Sony a7III. J'en suis très satisfait. En général, avec TTArtisan, j'ai pu m'équiper d'une gamme d'objectifs (500mm, 50 mm tilt, 75mm F2) qu'il m'aurait été impossible d'acquérir de marque Sony voire Tamron.

Ein tolles Objektiv. Es bietet zwar keinerlei Funktionen war aber dafür auch sehr billig. Für 329 war das Objektiv echt toll. 500mm sind schon einiges und die Schärfe war überraschend gut. Finger weg bei 400€, einfach zu teuer. Das Objektiv bietet nichts, kein Bildstabilisator, keinen Wetterschutz, keinen Autofokus.

L'ho comprato per rendere la mia Sony A5100 abbastanza compatta da essere portata in tqsca.Lo scopo è stato perfettamente raggiunto.La qualità costruttiva è molto buona, anche la qualità delle foto è sorprendente.. un po' di distorsione correggibile in post. Ritornare a mettere a fuoco manualmente apre un nuovo modo di fotografare e forza ad essere più creativi e fotografi pensanti e consapevoli.
