I wanted this for taking portraits under natural lighting and getting decent bokeh. The first thing I noticed on opening the box is that it's weighty. On attaching the lens my first attempt at a shot the shutter didn't fire as I forget to set the camera to fire the shutter with no lens. I shot a few test pics and here's my initial thoughts.The aperture ring on lens is supposed to click - it does but it's only slight.As it's a manual lens, it does not feed back the aperture setting to the camera so it shows F00.The focus ring is quite firm without being too firm.Shots are sharp apart from the very last millimetre or so of wide open - F1.2 and a teeny bit - these are a bit soft.For the price paid it's very good.
