ニッパーみたいにストレートの刃で挟んで切断するとワイヤーが潰れて切れるため断面がバラけますがこれは刃が内側に湾曲して絞り込む様に切断するため断面が綺麗で使う時や設置後の見栄えが綺麗で良かった。3ミリのステンレスワイヤー切る時、200ミリのサイズのせいか切断時の力は必要だった。

Effortless cutting, clean finished end's, and a very reasonable price. Good Japanese steel and workmanship. Followed the cutting capacity guard lines, it will last a long time.

I needed this to install cable railings around my 15x15 deck. I used 1/8 inch thick cable (1x19, type 316). It worked very well initially, but it does lose some of its sharpness as the project went on. It cut the cable clean at first, but eventually got harder to cut and "smashed" the cabling in order to cut through. I was ok with this because I have no other planned uses for the tool and the smashed cable strands can fairly easily be twisted back into place. You will need solid hand strength to use this tool.

These cut through gym cable like butter. Made in Japan not the other place. Very good quality.

I work in greenhouse and for the daily use i need to cut 5-6mm of stainless steel cabel and it cut perfect, the only down turn is the handle leverage is to big for the hand and not comfortable.
