I love building 1:700 ships and I've built a number of Trumpeter models. Usually they have photo etched metal parts that are optional, i.e. you can put up a plastic crane or you can use the photo-etched one. While I love working with plastic, I hate working with metal, which must be bent and then glued with superglue.In this model the command bridge and some other prominent parts are metal only. There's no option to use plastic with less precision (and superglue free fingers), but it's either the photo-etched fidgety metal pieces that you need to bend with precision instruments, since they're way too tiny to use fingers, or you can trash the entire model. I find this extremely bad practice from Trumpeter. Instead of relaxing, this now became annoying for me.
