Unless I'm missing something really obvious, with this item installed in the router, to the mark, it doesn't stick proud if the base plate even when the router was plunged to full depth... Will look again when I have more time

First one broke after 5 cuts. Replacement has been excellent. The spacers used when supplied provided an exact fit for the tenons. Extra spacers are provided, and can be added or removed for creating a tighter or looser joint. Unlike the cheaper cutters this is only a single cutter which means you have to reconfigure it to single or double blades for each type of cut. However this is quick and easy to do but you must follow the diagrams carefully and not lose any of the bits! A good quality tool and value for money.

Very nice router bit. Well made and did the job required of it. Cost is a little high but it is good quality.

I've never used a hand router before or done biscuit jointing. Since getting this cutter I've managed to biscuit joint a number of large hardwood panels accurately and quickly using 20 gauge biscuit joints. The panel faces were flush and only required finish sanding. A very good bit of kit.
