Omada is great in a large house with thick walls. I have 4 access points and handover is seamless (need the controller).Approaching 2y uptime on this access point!

Verwende ein OMADA System mit einem ER7212PC als Zentralpunkt.Startete mit EAP225 und EAP245,habe einen EAP653, bin nun komplett auf WLAN6 umgestiegen und habe zuerst EAP655-WALL, jetzt diese gekauft, insgesamt 6 Geräte in Betrieb.Die EAP650-Wall sind mit Abstand die kleisten Access Points. Die Sendeleistung ist dennoch nicht unterschieldich zu den größeren Brüdern. Im Gegensatz zu den EAP655-Wall mit 3x LAN+PoEgibt es nur einen weiteren LAN-Ausgag, was für den Einsatzzweck aber kein Problem darstellt. Leistungsaufnahme am ER7212PC primärseitig mit HMIP zwischenstekcer gemessen steigt mit dem Gerät um ca. 6W, also durchaus vertretbar. Sind top-Geräte.

To be clear, this access point is designed to be fitted to a standard embedded or surface-mount wall box as used for UK light switches and power outlets. No wall box is provided, neither is any power supply as it is designed to be powered over the connecting Ethernet cable using PoE+. (I'm not sure whether the "+" is absolutely necessary as the unit only draws 4W of power.)I recommend a box depth of 35mm although my metal box sank a bit further into the wall giving an actual depth of 40mm. Although TP-Link supply screws they turned out to be too short for a metal box as the threaded tabs of the box are set deeper into the box than a plastic surface-mount box.Something that completely threw me was trying to locate the front panel that you need to prize off to mount the unit. This installation instructions are not product specific so the supplied picture was unhelpful. So if you're wondering the same thing, the front panel is literally the thin cover on the very front of the unit, about 2mm deep. There's no screwdriver slot but I just slipped a slim table knife under the top lip and it came off easily.Once installed the AP was easy to update and then set-up. Performance-wise it's overkill for our needs but it was the cheapest of the better access points whose prices seem to be determined by the number of Ethernet ports, a feature we don't use.

Testé et remplacé rapidement par un EAP670 (plus cher, plus encombrant mais performance incomparable).Je suis satisfait depuis des années par la gamme Omada de TP-Link en usage entreprise et habitation mais là, je crois que c'est le modèle le moins bien de toute la gamme.

الصراحه احسن بمليون مره من الراوتر بس لازم تسوي نظام Poe عشان يشتغل عندك ونا حمدالله مسوي هذا النظام من زمان والصراحه نص البيت مركب منه ومافي احسن منه تحط نفس الاسم وتركب فكل مكان واحد بدال ماتشتري راوتر بسعر غالي ومايغطي المكان انصح الي يبا نت يكون موجود فكل مكان فلبيت يشتري منه ويحط فكل مكان نفس الاسم ويستمتع بسرعه النت حجمه مناسب عشان الاطفال مايكسرونه ولا يطيح ولا شي اكثر مشاكل الي نواجها الراوتر يتكسر ولا يطيح وتصير مشاكل نصيحه مني الكل يجرب
