TOPPING D50 III
Der D50 III verfügt über zwei ES9039Q2M DAC-Chips, die hochauflösende Streams bis zu PCM 32bit 768kHz und DSD512 unterstützen. TOPPING hat sich dafür entschieden, ihn als DAC/Vorverstärker mit Lautstärkeregelung in Verbindung mit Aktivlautsprechern oder einer Endstufe zu betreiben. Die Anschlussmöglichkeiten des DAC D50 III bieten zahlreiche digitale Eingänge: SPDIF Coaxial, Toslin Optical und USB-C. Die Ausgänge umfassen eine symmetrische 6,35mm-Klinkenbuchse und einen RCA-Ausgang.
USB-C DAC
Die USB-C-Schnittstelle des TOPPING D50 III verfügt über zwei Anschlüsse. Ein Übertragungsanschluss und ein Stromanschluss. Es wird empfohlen, den zusätzlichen Stromanschluss zu verwenden, wenn die D50 III an einen Laptop oder ein Telefon angeschlossen ist.

Llevo semanas usándolo conectado a una tableta android y al televisor, principalmente.Muy buen sonido, con separación de instrumentos. Puedes escuchar FLACS de alta resolución, pero necesitas una aplicación especial en Android. Lo cierto es que aun con unos altavoces Hi-Fi de gama alta como tengo, no se nota ninguna diferencia de sonido entre un FLAC de alta resolución y el mismo FLAC calidad CD.La pantalla del DAC es muy pequeña y resulta inútil si estás sentado a una distancia de 2 metros.Es un poco complicado de usar para que sea realmente alta resolución.Le pongo 4 estrellas porque tengo otro DAC chino sin marca con los mismos chips y entradas de audio, aunque no es de alta resolución y hace resampling a 48 kHz, pero cuesta solo 50 € y el sonido es exactamente igual.

E' qualche mese che utilizzo il convertitore. Non ho riscontrato problemi di funzionamento. Ho aggiornato senza difficoltà il firmware alla versione più recente. La qualità del suono, per quanto percepisco, è soddisfacente. Ha ingressi che lo rendono versatile. La consegna è stata effettuata in tempi ragionevoli e senza contrattempi.

E30から当機に変更したのですが良く感じた点・歪っぽさがかなりなくなりました（特に高域）・音場の広がり良くなりました（スピーカーの外側まで出るようになりました）・E30よりとても自然な感じがします・E30よりコントラストが明瞭に、立体感も出てきました（奥行き感はもう一つです）悪く感じた点・RCA端子が華奢なのが残念・DSDをネイティブで再生したくて使っているのでBTは無い方が良いです・ディスプレイが小さく、表示が見ずらい（我慢できる範囲ですが老眼には厳しい）・ひどいというレベルではないがリモコンの反応が微妙（E30時から改善は無い）AKMとESSのキャラクターの違いがわかりやすく、個人的にはESSに軍配が上がるAKMには戻れない気がしています（同格のAKMと比較ではないので正しい判断ではないかもしれません）D10からE30→D50Ⅲという使用履歴なのですが総じて、奥行きの表現がTPPINGは弱いのかなという印象はあります。しかしながら今回のD50Ⅲでは、若干の改善が見られ、この価格を考えるととても良いものかと思います。当然個々の再生環境に大きく依存するものではありますが、期待以上、価格以上の音と当方は感じます

Pros:- Balanced and unbalanced outputs can be used simultaneously.- Bluetooth APTX HD and LDAC for commodity, and sounds pretty good.- EQ on USB input (maybe at some point a firmware update will allow for all inputs? Let's hope so)- Bluetooth remote!- Sound quality is EXCELLENT!- Screen in unobtrusive and non-fatiguing.- Straightforward options (but read the manual).- Love the preset possibility.- Ultraportable and good looking, but if you want to hide it, small enough for that and easy to control with remote.- Price for the quality and features.CONS- Would have liked an optical AND coax output to use as bridge.- EQ unavailable on inputs other than USB input. Actually, this is THE single point that gets to me, really.- Yet another DAC in my arsenal... (this one is subjective)This is a seriously good DAC. I can try convincing you to buy it, but using it and listening to music with it with your own ears should be your motivation. I own several DACs and this one is by far the best bang for the buck, especially for the EQ. Come on Topping, why not have had EQ on other inputs, too scared to make a perfect product??? Just play around with your firmware and fix that ASAP!

I'm a technical guy / engineer, and this gets 5-stars from me.If you want a more objective source, go to AudioScienceReview. They are REALLY hard-core and rate this also really highly. The signal path is pristine. To get this DAC performance 5 years ago would have cost you €2000.Some people have reservations about the durability of gear like this from China, but all indications are that Topping makes good stuff - again, check that website above. I definitely recommend this unit.Potential buyers should be aware that there is NO headphone amplifier of headphone jack. There are other DACs that include a headphone amplifier and jack - if you need or want these, then this Topping DAC is not for you. Otherwise if this is your budget point, you really cannot do better.
