Reading the reviews, I see I'm not the only one misled by Topeak's inaccurate sizing chart. The pump I ordered after meticulous measurement isn't even close to fitting. Now for the inconvenience and additional expense of returning it, ordering a new one, and hoping for the best. Quality is a crapshoot, understood -- thus, the diverse opinions regarding this product. My one-star reflects dissatisfaction with Topeak's sizing, not with their pump's performance, which I didn't test. Sizing should be easy enough for Topeak to figure out. Are you reading this review, Topeak? I'm not buying anything else with your name on it -- and I buy a lot of things for my bicycles.

This pump is well made and works, but It has no gauge and attaches rigidly to the tire, this means that when pumping vigorously you have to hold the pump head and stabilize the wheel simultaneously. This is much more trouble in practice than it sounds, I recently replaced this pump on my touring bike with a road morph g, not as stylish as it won't fit into the pump peg on my head tube, but as it is essentially a mini floor pump works much better. Also do some research into the size you need, I think I might have ordered the wrong size originally.

This is a great pump! I found it very easy to pump my road bike tires up to 100psi with very little effort. It came with the attachment already set for Presta valves, so I didn't have to change anything. The pump handle is spring loaded and fits nicely on the inside of the top tube of my bike. Be sure that the lever is flat when you put the pump on the valve, then lift the lever up to lock it onto the valve. I didn't have any problem getting a good seal. As others have said, you must check the size you need carefully. The size listed in the description is the bike frame size, NOT the length of the pump. My bike frame size didn't match the one in the description. You need to go to the Topeak website and look at these pumps there, it clearly shows the length of the top tube that the pump will fit. Measure the distance along the inside of the top tube of your bike, then you can pick out the size of pump that will fit properly. Other than that I'm very happy with this pump so far.

Well built, does the job and feels like a good quality material. The only issue I have is that the sizing described in the manufacturers website is not accurate. So it is better to actually try it on the bike before buying it (specially if your bike is in the border between medium and large)

I ordered for a 52 frame size but it's too large and it barely fits. It doesn't feel very portable. I think I will be looking for a more portable pump than this one.
