these shoes are performing very well so far used for about 6 months . so signed for defects or excessive wear . good fit

Definitely runs small. I ordered a 9 and my toes crammed up against the edge.

Been a Mt. Biker / rec. road rider for about 29 years. My last pair of shoes ( I used the same shoe for Mt. and road ) were Pearl Izumi....size 44 ) Those shoes were perfect and lasted me at least 15 years. Sadly I noticed this year that my Pearls were starting to slowly fall apart. Part of the sole on one shoe and part of the uppers were really getting beat up. I knew it was time for new shoes but when I checked REI the place I bought the P.I.'s I couldn't find a model that I felt was like the other shoes, even when I did a google search. When I looked on Amazon I saw these Tommaso's that look very similar to my old P.I.'s. I ordered the 10.5 size knowing I was rolling the dice. When it comes to things like shoes I almost insist on trying them on first. That said, having no other real choice I ordered them online. Lucky me, these shoes turned out to be very nice. After I installed a pair of Shimano cleats to use with my SPD pedals and after taking them on my first Mt. bike ride , I am pleased to say that cleat engagement is perfect and the shoes function perfectly. They are a little more roomy than my Pearls Izumi's but that is going to be something positive once the cold weather comes and I wear thicker socks. Really nice beefy sole on these shoes with the Vibram brand soles. Last but not least there is a nice bit of reflective material on the back of the shoe similar to what I had with my Pearl Izumi's. Perfect for riding my road bike at night. I am pleased with the purchase and would purchase again. ( Please note this is my first impression after one ride however I don't think I will feel differently unless they fail to last 5 years )

Super great shoe! Breathable, comfortable, easy to slip on/off. I’m a road rider and not concerned about weight. These are great in all Wisconsin weather. Look good, too.My original post:Initially felt a little narrow,but quickly got past that in that it is not an issue. I'm coming from Shimano sandals, so maybe that's the initial caution. My goal was to find a shoe that breaths well for cold weather riding. Still checking that out, but otherwise, feels terrific! Great price, fast shipping. I've got one ride in in the 40s and noticed a wee bit cooler toes (sandals would have been worse, I'm sure). So, what? Fogetaboutit!

Loved these shoes! One of the cheapest pairs I could find on Amazon, and they fit great and snug and I can ride for HOURS without any discomfort.
