This is without a doubt a great pen, although it is kind of uncomfortable to use for long periods of time, as the metal body is a bit too heavy for my liking and it has no tapering or anything that makes it comfortable to hold. An optional silicone grip would go a long way to making it more comfortable to use. It's also kind of annoying how there's no screw cap for one of the ends; the tip is held inside the pen body and you have to unscrew it and flip it around if you want to use it, and then flip it back in for storage. Would a second cap really have been that problematic to provide? The brush tips is also quite small and sort of inflexible, so I was unable to use it for the sort of calligraphy I like doing with brush-tipped markers. All other tips work as advertised. All the above is the reasoning for me ranking this four stars. As for whether you should buy this...I have this suspicion I am not the target market for this kind of pen. And most people wouldn't be, either. The thing is... this pen brands itself as "the infinitely refillable pen". And it is that, but you know what also is that? A fountain pen.Unless you very specifically are after the experience of the tips included with this pen, which are primarily fineliners... you may as well just get a bunch of cheap fountain pens, with a variety of nibs. Most of the sort of lines you can produce with the tips that come with this pen you can produce with fountain pen nibs. They're also a lot more varied, a lot more comfortable to write with (particularly once you find a shape and weight you enjoy), and it's a lot less annoying to change ink colour... if you even need to, because for the same money this costs you can buy a LOT of cheap fountain pens. So, ask yourself if you really need this pen, specifically - if you want the experience of writing with fineliners and marker tips, but using fountain pen inks. If so, by all means grab this, it's great. Otherwise, fountain pens are there for you.

What can I say? I am in love with this gorgeous pen! I watched a video on you tube about changing the nib - I'm easily confused - but it was straightforward. It writes so beatifully, the ink flows well and you can feel the quality of the pen as you write. In this tech age, it's so nice to actually spend time writing with such a thing of beauty. Love it!

amazing build quality, and the nibs are fantastic. I love the idea of a refillable infinite pen so much. great gift for art lovers. a bit expensive but it is completely worth it!

I love a good pen and was looking forward to the writing experience I would get with this pen set. It is a little different to anything else I own and there are a lot of nibs included. I already had some fountain pen ink which I could use to try this out and it does write nicely. However, for the price point of almost £100 I would want and expect so much more. I think there should be a facility to have an ink reservoir for each nib. This would mean lots of different colours could be used and would make me more likely to pick this up. As it stands, I’m stuck with the two colours I choose until I change them – and have the rigmarole of cleaning out the reservoirs. Perhaps those who write for a living, or artists who require this type of pen daily may be the ideal consumer for this pen. For Average Joe, this is too expensive, too much of a faff with not enough benefit and is certainly not going to stop lots of disposable pens going to landfill unless the price point becomes affordable for the average consumer.
