Uso questo filtro per eliminare dominanti o cambiare il bilancimento del bianco delle pellicole fotografiche quando scatto al tramonto o all'alba. Utilizzando spesso diapositive Ektachrome, utilizzo questo filtro per eliminare la dominate blu nelle ombre. Utile abbinarlo all' 81B per avere un viraggio maggiore.Può trovare applicazione anche nella fotografia digitale se si vuole dare un effetto più caldo agli scatti.La qualità costruttiva è ottima e il filtro non mostra cali di qulità di nell'immagine finita.Tiffen una garazia

Literally okay. Just okay. Not much left too add. Its not bad, its not good. Very average. I use it over an ND filter.

Use this on Canon T2I instead of usual UV filter. I believe it cuts UV better and sharpens image than usual UV filter without making noticeable color shift. Skin tones in northern climates need slight warming anyway. Just a suggestion, I recommend this filter even though costs more than cheap UV filters.

I agree with other comments concerning the Tiffen 81A filter but not all. The effects of any filter can be performed by just about any decent software package that you can purchase today but that isn't some folks cup of tea. I would venture to say that most photographers on Amazon range from novice to intermediate, myself falling in that range somewhere.This filter is ideally suited to anyone not familiar or comfortable with the functions of white balance and how to set it manually on their camera. I would suggest anyone falling in that category and wanting to warm an image purchase this filter as it does exactly what it states it will do. Once you are comfortable with setting your white balance or obtain the software you need to do so, this filter will become obsolete for you.The build quality is decent and you won't have any issues with the product as it works as advertised. I had no issue with image vignetting using the 52mm version. Bottom line, it's a decent filter and does exactly as the manufacturer states. Enjoy!

The filter provides the protection I intended for the lense. I remove it when I am shooting in "safe" situations and remount it when shooting in difficult, crowded or situations where protection is imperative
