First of all, the capacity description is not true. It barely fits 4 skis. Realistically, I'd say only 3 skis, or 3 pairs if you stack them up (and have good clearance from the roof of your car). 4 pairs of skis like the description says, is a definitely a stretch, and I just cannot see how this model can fit 4 snowboards either. Kid-size snowboards? Maybe.Secondly, this is just a ski grip. You will also need bars and mounts to attach it to the car, none of which are included. Even though the images here show the full assembly. Be prepared to pay $300-400 extra for the remaining parts.Other than that it's a sturdy and good looking product.

A little stiff but it does exactly what you need it to do. I also noticed very little loss in fuel efficiency if you care for that

They worked very well. Please note: The risers do not work with the speed link attachment, however the speed links provide a lot of clearance room and did not need the risers.
