The first time I read the book, I felt really triggered by many chapters.Thankfully, I have learned that where we get triggered, there is great opportunity for improvement.Coming back and reading the book a second time, I realized just how much the book resonates with me.The more I use the suggestions in the book, the better of a husband and father I become.Warmly recommended with all my heart.

There's undoubtedly some good stuff in this book but also a lot of waffle as well. I asked a female friend what she thought of his approach to woman's moods - "an evasive man who looks into my eyes and sings -- i'd shove the fool out the door". His masculine and feminine archetypes lack depth - they're too much like soapie stereotypes. I also have a problem with the idea that the superior man can fix everything with the love he has to give. It's nice for us men to hear - but it naive. Again - the type of woman he's talking about - are they really feminine, or just very emotionally immature? The book itself is just beyond mediocre - nothing superior here.
