Get this book and enjoy the work of a genius. Beginning with purely war based short stories (obvious really as this is what was happening when he began writing), they do become more wide ranging. I've read some of his short story collections before but decided to go for the complete works. Purely to read all of them over several volumes. I tend to read short stories whilst reading a factual book. I did that with this collection but sometimes I cheated and read more than one. They really do pull you into the story and are very enjoyable reads.

I love Roald Dahl, his children stories are excelent. I totally recomend this book. And the best is that you can buy and in one second is in your kindle :P

tiefster schwarzer humor von roald fahl im englischen original ist schon was ganz besonderesich kann es nur jedem empfehlen, jede story ist kurios aber dennoch packend, und nie weiß man so recht was einen am ende erwarten wird
