Wir haben die Novas bestellt, da der Router bei uns nicht stark genug ist, 3 Etagen mit Internet zu versorgen. Die Würfel sind leicht und schnell einzurichten und haben genug Dampf das Internet im gesamten Haus zu verteilen.Klare Empfehlung

Ziemlich einfache Installation, leider funktioniert nur einer der beiden Extender. Ich habe den von der App geforderten Vorgang durchgeführt, der erste Extender war in ca. 1-2 Minute verbunden.Hervorragende und stabile Verbindung.Der zweite Extender hat Probleme, obwohl die grüne LED eine Weile blinkt und dann dauerhaft leuchtet (wie es sein sollte), stellt er keine Verbindung her und ist in der App nicht vorhanden.Ich versuche einen Reset durchzuführen und die Verbindung erneut herzustellen. Überraschenderweise funktioniert der Reset nicht ( sollte die LED rot leuchten, bleibt aber grün , egal nach 8 Sek. Soft-Reset oder 20 Sek. Hard-Reset ).Ich habe es mindestens zwanzig Mal versucht, aber der Extender ist so gut wie tot.Ich habe diesen Artikel am 27.05. 2024 bestellt , allerdings habe ich es erst am 17.07.24 installiert, da ich den Internetanbieter gewechselt habe und ich es nur einmal installieren wollte, inzwischen war die Rückgabefrist inzwischen abgelaufen.Amazon bot mir an, mir einen Teil des Geldes für die Unannehmlichkeiten zurückzuerstatten. Ich habe das Angebot angenommenIch bin mit dem Kundenservice von Amazon sehr zufrieden, zumindest wurde mir das Geld für den defekten Artikel zurückerstattet.Aber ich bin von Tenda enttäuscht, es ist nicht möglich, dass ein neues Produkt diese Probleme hat.ps: Ich habe die FB-Seite von Tenda besucht und viele haben dieses Problem, das nicht zurückgesetzt werden kann. Leider bietet Tenda keine Lösung an und reagiert nicht auf Hilfeanfragen. 5 Sterne für den Amazon-Kundenservice (wie immer ausgezeichnet), 1 Stern für die Qualität des Produkts.Update 02.08.24Letzte Woche habe ich Tenda Deutschland kontaktiert.Ich habe per mail mein Problem erklärt, dass das Gerät nicht zurückgesetzt werden konnte.Weniger als einer Stunde erhielt ich eine Antwort.Ich wurde gebeten, zu versuchen, alles zu trennen und wieder neu anzuschließen.Ich habe alles so gemacht, wie es der Support vorgeschlagen hat, leider hat es nicht funktioniert und ich konnte den Reapeter nicht zurücksetzen.Deshalb beschloss Tenda, den defekten Reapeter noch am selben Tag auszutauschen. (ich musste nur die Quittung, ein Foto des Etiketts und ein Video eines Reset-Versuchs schicken)Unglaublich, in 2 Tagen habe ich einen neuen Repeater erhalten.Und beim ersten Versuch funktionierte alles wie es sollte. Super !!!Ich habe mindestens 400 MB (mit einem 5G-Router) im ganzen Haus und 250-300 MB im Garten, das ist fantastisch!!!Ich bin mit Tenda sehr zufrieden, auch weil ich andere Produkte von Tenda habe, die seit Jahren sehr gut funktionieren (4 Überwachungskameras für den Innen- und Außenbereich).Deshalb freue ich mich, meine Bewertung von 2 auf 5 Sterne ändern zu können.Ps : Danke Silvia !!! Love how small this switch is and can't argue with the price. Seems to hold up to it's gigabit rating. Hopefully it lasts a long time, if not I'll edit this review. Being 5VDC this could be very DIY/Techie friendly for projects.

Our house is about 280 M2 and all on one floor so the house is spread out wide with thick concrete walls between rooms. Our router was located at one end of the house and could not be moved to the center of the house. This meant that the internet connection was only available in about half the area. I tried to use a repeater (TPlink) but this was no use and the speeds were very poor at 2 of my bedrooms and also no internet in the kitchen and basement at all. I chose this Tenda Nova MW 5G because of the following points1. Cost - relatively the cheapest in the market when compared to similar models from competitors2. range - very good range with 3 mesh nodes and possibility to add more nodes if required,3. performance on paper - AC 1200 should theoretically be able to handle my 100Mbps connection easily enough.4. Availability of 2 Gig ethernet ports on each node would help me boost the network in future if required.Here's the review after 2 weeks of useShipping - arrived in under 2 days as usual from Amazon's amazing delivery service.Packaging - Safely packed in its own box and there were no damages to the box or the contents. There were no items missing from the package.Installation - This was by far the easiest installation of any tech device i've done in my life.1. All you need to do is take one node next to internet router, plug in the ethernet cable (provided in the box) from the router to the Tenda nova node, plug in the power supply cord and your first node is configured.2. Next download the Tenda wifi app on the phone or tablet.3. decide the 2 places to install the node 2 and 3 and plug them in locations. The lights on the nodes must be green and if they are Red or Yellow move them closer to the nearest node or move in line of sight of the node (maybe place at a higher level)4. open the app and make sure all 3 nodes are added already and if not you can add them using the add node function.5. set up the internet name (i use the same name and password as i use in the wifi router ) this would mean that the devices dont need to be reconfigured to new wifi network.and you are done. All my phones, laptops, tablets, gaming devices, printers, etc immediately connected to this network and started to work seamlessly.6. total time for installation and setup was under 30 minutes.7. Dead spots - No dead spots in the whole house - i can walk from one corner of the house to the other and have no problems. I can even stream HD videos in the previously mentioned dead spot areas.8. Has a Guest network feature - so if you have Guests you can give them a separate Wifi network/ password and they dont need to know your default one.Speed tests -1. Connected via ethernet cable directly to the router - Max speed - 80Mbps2. Standing in front of the Node 1 (connected to the Wifi Router), I get a max speed of 73 Mbps but average around 70Mbps3. Moved to Node 2 (also ensured that the device is connected to Node 2 via the app) - Speedtest around 50 - 60Mbps average4. Moved to Node 3 - Speed drop to around 40 Mbps but this is still very usable for even streaming Netflix at high def5. Speed test at the furthest corner of the house - about 2 thick walls from the node 3 and the worst place in the house for internet previously - 20 Mbps - still very good as the regular router signal doesn't even reach in this area.Internet works on both channels (2.4 and 5 Ghz) automatically and all my devices including old legacy 2.4Ghz devices work well with this network.Problems - what i dislike or can be improved -1. The Mesh cannot be configured using a webpage like you would configure a router (using localhost or 192.xx.xx.xx IP). The app has to be installed on a smartphone or tablet.2. Cannot configure many things i would have liked - for instance QOS (i see the option) but this only sets the speed of the internet and cannot be used to configure the quality of service for individual connected devices.3. Date time - The app does not pick up time using NTP and clicking on the Date time option on the app makes it crash - raised a bug report with Tenda customer service but i dont know when they will fix it.4. No firewall capability - there is no firewall capability even a simple one on the device and i have to rely on my router to do that.5. Parental control - Has limited capability of whether I can allow a device on the internet or not. No keyword blocking, porn block etc.Overall conclusion - In terms of providing basic internet across the house - it does a great job. For the price, I think that this is a great buy. It can be easily installed by people with limited computer knowledge as well. I feel that some features can be easily added via the app but nonetheless, I would recommend this device to anyone who has dead spots in their home.
