I have 5 daughters taking lessons so wanted a skate that would last a while. My daughters also all have large feet and with skates you always need to size up. My 9yo has an adult size 6 foot and has worn these comfortably for two years only sharpened them once so far. My two younger daughters are in adjustable roces. Her feet are wide and she suffers joint pain but these have been great so far. I have put a cushioned insert in but that’s more to do with getting an ASD child on the ice comfortably. They’re great for learning and charging about playing games and hold up well, I’ve no idea if they would be any good as a figure skate though.
