It's a bit kitsch, the presentation for what it's worth is something, a bit gaudy; the base box's gold covering matches thematically with the outer box, definitely in line with the motif they were going for. The pen itself was a bit rough to start, I'm not sure if the ink had been in storage for a while but it took a while to even get started and even then it periodically feels like it's beginning to run dry before continuing on in a 3/4-kind of running strength.If you or someone you know who's a fan of #47 then this could be something to consider getting them, my only reservation is that as a product itself, namely a usable pen, it feels like it's coming up short because I can't get the ink to flow properly. This could just be a random issue with manufacturing and/or storage of the components or just my bad luck, but I feel it's something I should mention since first and foremost this is a pen.

Interesting pen.I can’t use it at work because It will piss people off. But that’s ok.The weight is pretty good. The writing is very decent.I lost the pen the first day i had it, so I’d say it isn’t loss proof.I’d recommend this pen for your right leaning friends and even your left ones.
