First layer on both vellum and smooth I used pastels. On the rellum surface it allowed me to rub and move an even coverage, not so much with the smooth surface it was more fixed, lines made didn't smudge off. I also used clear school glue made the vellum surface buckle up. First layer pastel then glue to collage and lastly used paint pens. Eventually I will seal. Hope this review helps.

I belong to a group of friends that do craft projects throughout the year and send them back and forth to one another. It's fun and allows all of us to be creative. I love to use these cards for ATC exchanges and trades. They hold up wonderfully to my mixed media creations.
