Use them on an outdoor score board for horseshoes and cornhole. Nice size heavy duty and so far have not shown any signs of rust

I wanted these to attached to my raised Cactus garden so I could record what variety was planted at a particular numbered spot, attaching them to 4X 4's. They only negative, is that they don't specify the hole size for attaching them, I took my drill bit set and put a 1/8th drill bit thru hole and it was almost exact. Then I had to find bolts and see which diameter fit thru the hole (Being they're all metric bolts.) I double checked the bolt size that fit by putting it in an electrical wire stripping tool that has marked and threaded hole to check sizes and to cut the bolts as well. So! a #6 bolt/screw will fit nicely. End of story!

The plates are not stainless steel, like the product description says. Magnets won't stick to them, which is to be expected from stainless steel.
