Dank des USB 3.0 Universal HDD/SSD Docks UNIDOCKU33 können Sie direkt über zwei von oben zu bestückende Laufwerkschächte auf Ihre 2,5- oder 3,5-Zoll IDE- und SATA-Festplatten zugreifen, ohne die Laufwerke in einem Computer oder externem Gehäuse oder Schacht montieren zu müssen. Diese Festplatten-Dockingstation ist mit UASP (USB Attached SCSI Protocol) ausgestattet, sodass Sie die schnellsten Laufwerktechnologien, z. B. SATA III (6 Gbit/s)-Solid-State-Laufwerke (SSD) und Hybrid-Laufwerke, in Kombination mit einem UASP-fähigen Hostcontroller mit einer bis zu 70% höheren Geschwindigkeit als herkömmliches USB 3.0 nutzen können. So bleibt der Schreibtisch ordentlich und aufgeräumt. SATA HDDs können direkt über den speziellen Dockschacht eingesetzt und verbunden werden, während sich der IDE-Laufwerkschacht zweckmäßig in der Nähe der 40-poligen- und LP4-Stromanschlüsse an der Rückseite befindet, wo das Anschließen der mitgelieferten IDE-Daten- und Stromkabel ganz einfach ist. Eine einzige USB 3.0-Verbindung mit Ihrem Hostcomputer ermöglicht Zugriff auf sowohl IDE- als auch SATA-Festplatten gleichzeitig und ist damit eine praktische Lösung für die Migration von Daten von einem IDE-Laufwerk auf ein SATA-Laufwerk oder umgekehrt. Das Dock kann auch verwendet werden, um die Speicher- und Sicherungsmöglichkeiten Ihres Computersystems mit Unterstützung für Laufwerke mit hoher Kapazität (getestet mit bis zu 6 TB bei 3,5-Zoll-Laufwerken und bis zu 2 TB bei 2,5-Zoll-Laufwerken) verwendet werden. Bessere Leistung mit UASP UASP wird unter Windows 8, Max OSX (10.8 oder höher) und Linux unterstützt Bei Tests zeigt UASP bei Höchstleistung eine 70% höhere Lesegeschwindigkeit und 40% höhere Schreibgeschwindigkeit gegenüber herkömmlichen USB 3.0. Bei gleicher Spitzenleistung im Test zeigt UASP auch eine 80%-ige Reduzierung hinsichtlich der benötigten Prozessorressourcen. Testergebnisse wurden mithilfe eines Intel Ivy Bridge-Systems, eines UASP-fähigen StarTech.com-Gehäuses und eines SATA III-Solid-State-Laufwerks erlangt.

Prodotto molto buono. Ottima la costruzione. Connessione USB 3.0 molto veloce. Il PC lo ha subito riconosciuto ed installato. Sono molto soddisfatto.

Hier in der Beschreibung steht groß das man beide schächte nutzen kann für Sata HDD's. Dem ist nicht so. Denke der 2. Sata Anschluss musste dem IDE Anschluss weichen. Dies steht hier jedoch nirgendswo. Schacht zwei ist mit einem Blindstopfen verschlossen. Was die doppelte Ausführung etwas ins ab absurdum führt. Geht zurück und bestelle die reine SATA Version die hoffentlich wirklich zwei Sata Anschlüsse hat.

Where have you been all of my lifeI have been looking for a device like this for a long time... Of course I asked the local computer store about such a device and since they do not carry it, they are like that one does exist.. They are so very wrong. I ordered it and in two days it arrived. Of Course the other stuff I ordered at the same time is still yet to be placed it a box..Amazon Faiiiiil!Now on to the Device..This thing works and it works very well...They shipped everything you need to get the job do plus what looks like power cords for the Major Euro sections. So if you are going to perform some IT work or help your Grand Mother in England back up her stuff they have you covered..ProsAll of the connectors you need to connect .. IDE and SATA for you Laptop and Desktop HardrivesIt Works FlawlesslyPower ButtonIt Looks GreatQuality workmanshipConsSurprise you cannot place your IDE drives in the Device... What??? Yes the top of the device is only for SATA Hard drives.. But they did give you the connection components need to attach the device.. Power adapter and ribbon.. Sorry I did not expect that! So I place the IDE Hard drive on a Hard Cover Huge Linux book, then placed an Anti Static Hard Drive cover on top of the book and the IDE hard drive on top of that.. The result it works but you desk, floor or table is instantly transformed into a Geek Shop..This has nothing to do with the Device but BE Very Careful inserting the Power plastic adapter for the Hard Drive! It is a Bear you do not want to damage your devices take your time.. Disconnect it from the Dock (The Plastic White Power connector) then attempt to remove it from the Hard drive if you have to, because for some hard drives it take a lot of force to insert and remove it.Make sure when you connect the IDE Drive that you allow the correct amount of space between them.. Too far means too much stress on the cords which equals a shorter life span of the connection cords.. It feels like I will have to replace those parts after extended use due to the overt force required to remove them, plus the tension placed on the cords due to the different length of power connector and connection ribbon might contribute to decreased the life span of the cords.Tip: Grab the ribbon by its side (The black plastic Part) when removing it from the IDE hard drive you will be tempted to grab and or yank it but the cord..ConclusionIt is a Great Device that works..I Highly recommend it!PS.It may require a little "elbow grease" to remove connection cords but such is life when dealing with IDE Hard Drives..
