Ich habe den Starpro BJJ Gi in Weiß gekauft, da ich für Wettkämpfe einen traditionellen weißen Gi benötige. Insgesamt bin ich zufrieden mit dem Gi. Ich habe bewusst einen Männer Gi gewählt, da sie meiner Meinung nach besser geschnitten sind als die für Frauen.Der Gi ist qualitativ gut verarbeitet und erfüllt seinen Zweck. Er ist robust und bietet ausreichend Bewegungsfreiheit für meine Kämpfe. Die weiße Farbe sieht zudem sehr klassisch aus.Allerdings gibt es einen kleinen Aspekt, der mich ein wenig stört: das Gummischnürband an der Hose. Leider gehen diese jedes Mal auf, wenn ich kämpfe, was manchmal ziemlich unangenehm sein kann, vor allem wenn der Gegner plötzlich meine Hose in der Hand hat.Ansonsten kann ich den Gi aber dennoch empfehlen. Vielleicht liegt das Problem mit dem Gummischnürband auch an meiner Figur, und ich brauche tatsächlich einfach nur etwas mehr Bauch, um das Problem zu beheben. Insgesamt ist der Gi aber ein solides Produkt zu einem angemessenen Preis.

Iam a BJJ brown belt and have been training for many years and used many gis from various brands. This is what I think about this one briefly:Pros:- very cheap in comparison- unique design- fabric seems alright- preshrunkCons:- doesn't fit "perfect" like expensive gis- the sleeves seem a little bit to bigIn general I think this gi is perfect for beginners and for people who need a backup gi for training. It completely serves it purpose, the material feels nice and is pretty durable.However, I won't use this gi for competition because I think it doest fit well like the other gis. My training partners get their grips more easily and it's harder for me to break their grips. I will still use it as a back up gi for basic classes, teaching and flowrolling.In the the end, I think that the value is very high and that nobody can give you a better gi for this price.

Ein echt guter Gi . Ich habe ihn ohne grosse Erwartungen bestellt und bin echt begeistert . Das Material ist sehr gut verarbeitet . Bewegegungsfreiheit ist wunderbar vorhanden und er sieht , wie ich finde , sehr stylisch aus . Kann ich definitiv nur weiterempfehlen.

Estoy muy contenta con el producto. El tejido es de calidad, se ajusta bien al cuerpo y es ligero. Siendo chica puede que las mangas queden un poco largas, pero en general está bien tallado. Muy cómodo entrenando, lo recomendaría.

Pratico jiu jitsu a livello agonistico da ormai 6 anni e ho provato diversi kimoni durante i miei allenamenti.Ho acquistato questo kimono incuriosito dal prezzo e sono rimasto incredibilmente sorpreso dalla qualità del prodotto.Le cuciture sono solide, robuste e precise, rendendo il kimono resistente e di ottima fattura.Il modello risulta comodo da indossare e curato esteticamente.Davvero un ottimo prodotto che consiglierei di acquistare a chiunque pratichi jiu jitsu brasiliano, sia a livello amatoriale che a livello agonistico.Acquistato taglia A2, sono alto 1.82 e peso 74 kg.

Ein guter Gi der angenehm zu tragen ist. Das Preis/Leistungsverhältnis ist sehr gut und der Gi ist vor allem für Menschen (evtl Einsteiger in den Sport) die nicht so viel Geld für einen Gi ausgeben wollen zu empfehlen.

Die Lieferung war schnell und unkompliziert. Der Gi passt entsprechend der Größentabelle und ist angenehm zu tragen. Der Stoff fühlt sich gut an und da der Gi dünn und leicht ist, ist er fürs Training bei diesen warmen Sommertemperaturen perfekt. Leider kann man ihn auf Turnieren nicht tragen, durch die Ränder an den Ärmeln.Aber fürs Training, vor allem für Einsteiger, die keine 200€ für einen Gi ausgeben wollen, eine perfekt Wahl.Ich würde ihn immer wieder kaufen und empfehle ihn definitiv weiter!

Verpackung und Versand gut.Überraschend gute Qualität und das für diesen Preis. Passt gut, fühlt sich gut an. Bei männlich, 185cm große und 90kg, athletische Figur passt er super.Wird beim Bjj verwendet. Bei den ersten Trainings hat er das positive Gefühl bestätigt.Definitiv eine Empfehlung, Preis - Leistung 5 Sterne.Grüße Marco

Ein qualitativ sehr hochwertiger GI!Als ich mich umgeschaut habe nach meinem ersten GI bin ich relativ schnell auf starpro gestoßen mit einem super Preis-Leistungs Verhältnis! Ich Rolle mit dem GI regelmäßig im Training und habe auch schon an Wettkämpfen damit teilgenommen und konnte mich nie beschweren!Die Nähte halten, sind sauber und fest verarbeitet. Der Stoff hat eine super Qualität und ist angenehm zu tragen, die Hose ist reißfest und ganz nebenbei macht der GI optisch auch einfach viel her!Ich besitze bereits 2 verschiedene GI's von starpro und würde jedesmal wieder dort bestellen!Absoluter Fan! :D

Honestly I didn’t expect too much - quality wise - because you never know for sure what you will get for this amount of money spend till it’s in front of you.So today I was able to pick up the package at the postal service and tried it on as soon as I got home - pictures are screenshots out of the video I made.That means up following are the pro and cons for the Gi and why I didn’t give it 5 out of 5 stars.Pro:- simple design- fabric feels good, better than I expected for this price- top/jacket (or however you want to call it) fits comfortablyBiggest plus:- priceCon:- the pantsI am 5’’6 feet tall/short and have a quite thick thighs and booty - currently even chubbier than usually. I do fit into the pants, but they are quite tight, tighter than my other Gi’s - own Gis from 4 other brands - in an A1 size.Because of the pants and the fact, that I could only test it on my own I would give the Gi 3 2/3 stars. As we know that’s not an option, so it shall be 4 stars for now.After I lost some pounds and had the chance to train in it I would review it again, maybe it hits the 5 stars for me then.I would recommend this Gi to people who don’t want to spend too much money on a quite decent Gi or for beginners, who just want their own Gi. :)

I'm 5'9 at 190 lbs with a fairly lean build and an A2 fits me perfectly. It felt really light although the top is a bit loose on me but that won't matter in the middle of a roll of the lapel comes loose.The pants fit perfectly as it's not too big like my other A2, but do note that the string is a little short because I like to double knot. Last thing to mention is that this does NOT come with a belt which doesn't matter much because I just use my other white belts and will buy more colored ones when I get promoted.

First off, a bit about me. I've been training jiu jitsu for 12 years and have owned about 20 gis. Obviously, I was a bit skeptical when I saw this, but what can I say? This gi is a quarter of the price (if not less) than gis from more well known companies. For that price, I was expecting something cheap and flimsy. What I got instead was the exact opposite. The ripstop pants are soft and comfortable, but well stitched and durable. The top is a lightweight pearl weave and feels very sturdy. The fit is exactly as described in the sizing chart. I'm 5'10" and weigh 175, which is at the top of the A2 sizing. Thankfully it fits perfect. The one very small complaint I have is that the gi sits a bit uncomfortably around my shoulders. However, I don't feel it at all as soon as rolling starts. And for the price, it's such an insignificant issue. I would highly recommend this for any practitioner. Whether it's your main gi, a travel gi, a secondary gi, or if you would just rather buy 3-4 of these instead of spending the same amount on 1 gi from another company, you won't be disappointed.Edit 6 months later: The gi is still holding up great, however, at the time of purchase I paid $30 for this and the above review is based on that price point.
