They are built in good quality, super easy and safe to let my kids play with it, they are lightweight wich make it easy for my kids to use, very fun for kids and a very good way to make them work out besides being just watching tv/tablet.

I obtained this Jump Rope to supplement my running workout. Many years ago, I had a leather jump rope. The leather rope of that jump rope had enough weight to it so that when you sped up your arm-swing, the rope responded in-turn, immediately. Since that rope disappeared many years ago, it has been difficult for me to find a jump rope like it or one that had enough weight in the rope to be able to do double or triple-swing jumps and really fast rope jumping. I have tried several jump ropes, and some are so light that it is hard to keep the right timing and get the rope to travel fast enough to get a consistent workout. Nowadays, there are lots of wire, cable, jump ropes with the 1/8" wide, rubber coated, cable. Many with weighted handles. I am not a fan of these jump ropes. I remembered that when I played football in high school, we used to use the segmented, jump ropes with the 1.5" hard, plastic beads. These ropes had good weight and worked well so when I saw these soft-beaded ropes on Amazon, I thought I would give them a try. When I received them and opened the package, I was disappointed at first because the rubber beads seemed pretty soft and light. I did not think they would have enough weight to serve my purpose, or they were hard enough to withstand a constant beating on a cement (driveway) surface. However, after taking the jump rope out and trying it, I was extremely happy. The rope has good weight and also responds well to an increase or decrease in arm-swing. Furthermore, the soft, rubber beads are much quieter than the hard, plastic beads. Not that this was something I thought about when I obtained the jump ropes, but I now can jump rope at any time of the early morning or late night without disturbing my neighbors. I am 5'9" and the ropes were just the right length for me out of the package, and I did not have to adjust them for length at all. I am not sure how durable the rubber beads will be on concrete, but I will find out. I have only used them a few times so far and there appears to be no damage to the beads as of yet. If the jump ropes were to be used on a gym floor or polished concrete, I would not be concerned whatsoever about the rubber beads durability. The Jump Ropes also come with two, small, rubber, spider-man-like, character toys that you stick on glass windows and watch them climb down the glass (by gravity). I gave these toys to my neighbor's kids. I would recommend these jump ropes for anyone who wants good swinging jump ropes.
