Bought this for my Morphy Richards bread maker which I have had nearly 7 years . The paddle bearing had worn out and no longer turned. This replacement works really well and gives the bread maker new life!

The non-stick coating on my very old Panasonic SD-253 bread machine bread pan and paddle had failed long ago, making it a pain to get the bread and paddle out when baking was complete.Panasonic stopped making replacement bread pans for my model long ago and the only ones I could find specifically for this model were stupidly expensive or with a used and tatty machine bread on eBay.This looked similar so I gave it a punt and I am glad I did. The shaft doesn't lock into place in the machine like the OEM one and it feels very lightweight in comparison, but importantly it does fit and it works just fine.ProsIt works with the Panasonic SD253Non stick is greatPrice is goodConsDoesn't lock into placePaddle always gets stuck in the loaf but easy to removeLightweight construction and doesn't feel as good quality as the OEM one.

Delighted to confirm that this pan fits my trusty old Shef breadmaker! The bolt thingy sheared off the original one after many years of use. Really pleased I can now carry on using the machine. I believe the Von Shef machine is the same, but do check the exact dimensions for yourself.
