Works well with my Sony TV and S2000 soundbar. I bought them to complete the sound system since I already had the subwoofer. Placement is crucial; initially, I had them on temporary tables next to and just behind the sofa, then wall-mounted (which looked awful) behind the sofa. This resulted in sound being directed predominantly to one ear. Eventually, I positioned them on units in the corners of the room, 2m from the centre of the sofa. This arrangement works excellently, providing a more subtle and natural sound stage. You can adjust the volume of each speaker independently or together to fine-tune the balance. The overall effect is impressive, although during the first viewing of a horror movie, my wife spent much of the time under a blanket due to the knocking and creaking noises coming from various parts of the room. Nonetheless, I am very pleased with the purchase; I acquired it on sale for £350, so if you're looking for a bargain, it's worth waiting as the price fluctuates. Lastly, I recommend getting the subwoofer first; while these speakers are good, a high-quality subwoofer is the real game-changer.

These speakers along with HT- A5000 soundbar and Sw3 sub are fantastic.Speakers work really well and have good volume. Watching DTS, Dolby atmos etc really brings them alive.Was debating on these or the SA RS5S speakers but these RS3S are more than adequate for me. 100% recommended.

Bought to match my sound bar. Solid build. Fairly compact as sub-woofers go. Set up was very simple using the Bravia app. Linked immediately. Control via remote or the app. Plenty of power when turned up. It is very noticeable when it’s not turned on. When it’s balanced correctly it is not immediately obvious that it’s on unless something with big base like an explosion is on the tv, then you really feel it.Reasonable value for money, mid range price.

Brought to accompany & complete the Sony HT-A5000 & SA-RS3S package.This takes the sound bar & rear speakers to another level..the sub is rather large but looks fantastic and adds that extra depth & boom to films I never new existed.I live in a flat so keep the sub on 7 as any louder would probably upset the neighbours.Very happy with the subwoofer & the whole system works extremely well together.

I am baffled by the high price of these speakers, sure they look great, they sound great and the wireless connection to the Sony HT-A7000 is effortless, but boy that price is high. I would have loved the higher up model, but at this time I thought it was a stretch paying £449 for surround speakers.They do make a massive difference though, while the HT-A7000 soundbar provides a decent virtual surround itself, you can not beat physical speakers. These provide a great experience, right from the start. Both speakers require their own power (plugs supplied), but when plugged in, the soundbar detects them pretty much straight away. You are then prompted to run a calibration, if like me you accidentally place your speakers reversed (right on left, and left on right), the system knows this and prompts you to switch the speakers around. Once calibration is complete they are all set. You can adjust their volume with the remote and further tweak them with manual speaker settings in the menu.Having two drivers they enhance bass behind you, even balancing out bass in the whole room, while also providing a very detailed sound along with the tweeters. The experience is seemless, they wake when the soundbar is turned on and go to sleep when the soundbar is put in standby.I have experienced very brief moments of dropout from sound, but this has been rare and only for a split second. Otherwise they are very stable and really add to the experience.Adding these to your system allows you to use the 360 Spatial sound mapping feature, and it is great. Stereo sounds from music and even Youtube videos is upscaled into awesome surround sound, these speakers performing great and adding to the rich detailed experience and helping with the wider and deeper soundstage. As for Surround and Dolby Atmos content, as expected these speakers add so much more to the experience when compared to using the HT-A7000 on its own.Expensive? Yes! But since the only other options are even higher priced (though I am tempted to get them in the future), what they add to the party is satisfying.
