Superbe qualité d'image et stabilisation au top !

Ich habe mir das Objektiv als Reiseobjektiv gekauft um mit "kleinem" Gebäck so viel wie möglich mit meiner Sony Alpha 7 IV fotografieren zu können. Natürlich ist die Qualität nicht ganz mit einem hochpreisigem Objektiv zu vergleichen, aber dafür, dass ich quasi immer das "richtige" Objektiv auf der Kamera habe ist das unschlagbar. Auch bei schwierigen Lichtverhältnissen oder indoor ohne Blitz liefert die Kamera mit diesem Objektiv hervorragende Bilder. Das einzige was bei der großen Range an Brennweite ab und zu nicht richtig trifft ist er Autofokus bei vielen Objekten in unterschiedlichen Entfernungen. Ich bin bei solchen Motiven aber ohnehin ein Fan des mauellen Fokus, den man bei dem Objektiv an der Kamera und nicht am Objektiv aktivieren muss. Ich bin super zufrieden und möchte es in meiner Ausrüstung nicht mehr missen.

Como fotógrafo aficionado y después de usarla suficientemente, opino que esta lente gran angular-zoom 24-240, aunque un poco pesada, es muy versátil sobre todo para los que no queremos cargar con un sinfin de objetivos fijos, si, ya sé que estos de distancia focal fija suelen dar algo mas de calidad que solo saben apreciar los ojos expertos de fotógrafos profesionales. En definitiva una multitud de lentes en un solo objetivo que después de todo pesaría menos que cargar con 3 o 4 lentes fijas en tu bolsa.Ademas considero importante no tener que cambiar constantemente de objetivo, ya que para ello hay que dejar el sensor full Frame al descubierto en demasiadas ocasiones. Ya sabemos lo delicados que son estos sensores y lo mucho que se pueden ensuciar por los frecuentes cambios.Un detalle, por si en un momento dado necesitas aun más zoom, es que puedes poner tu camara Sony alpha 7 en posición APS-C con lo que esta lente se convierte en una de 500 mm, aunque pierdas momentáneamente la calidad que da un sensor de tamaño completo o Full Frame.Saludos.

Buen lente con rango amplio, se ve suave en las esquinas entre 24 y 35mm y 200 a 240mm, la mejor calidad llega entre 50 y 80 mm, es muy pesado pero cubre un rango amplio y si usas el modo super 35 te da mucho alcance, lo recomiendo solo usuarios casuales no profesionales

First off any product has to be based against the cost and my review is based on this premise. Although the list price of this at time of purchase was over £920 I paid £445 which, by any consideration is a bargain. I was on a lightning deal for £515 and then when I looked there was another £70 off when it was put in my basket. Honestly, it was too good to ignore.Bottom line is that this is a high(ish) end lens for a bargain bin price when I bought it.That being said, for the thick end of a thousand quid today there are probably better options around. If you can get it around the five hundred quid mark then you have nailed a winner.Quality of manufacture. Superb. This has heft and smoothness that only comes with a well made product. In your hand you genuinely feel you have a product where some care has been put into it's materials, design and quality in order to justify the price.To use it is smooth acting and all of the functions are slick and naturally well integrated into your Sony camera. I - well my wife who is a better photographer than I am - have used thin on an A7 and A6100 and on both it works beautifully.Because it's a Sony lens designed for the FE mount lenses it has the all important anti-shake function available. It's important because the zoom is good and thus holding the camera free hand inevitably means any movement is highly exaggerated.Actually, one of the only downsides of this lens is that thanks to it's size and weight, when used on the A6100 the balance does not feel right. On the A7 it's perfect as the slightly larger dimensions allow a better grip and more comfortable hold.Clearly, being a 24-240 lens, at the extreme ends of it's range there are inevitable compromises. At full zoom you are limited in aperture so you loose some speed. In most situations that's not a huge issue but perhaps in lower light conditions or in a forest then this is not ideal. At the other end there is a little more distortion at the edges than a dedicated wide angle lens. Correctable in Lightroom/Photoshop of course.From the so far limited use I have had, in good light my images are pin sharp. I mean really sharp. This lens is a huge step up from the cheaper 3rd party lenses in my opinion.Weight. Yep, it's heavier than some lenses but not massively so. To be honest it just lifts it out of the range of very light lenses that seem a bit 'low rent' without falling into the category of lenses that need a mobile crane to use. In other words, it's a nice balance of sensation and I personally find that a bit of heft helps me hold a steadier picture if not used on a tripod.Which, is the reason for having this lens. Given the focal range and not too ridiculous size this really is a perfect 'go to' lens. It coves a huge range and means that if you are just nipping out and don't want to think too much about what you need, then this will mean you are covered for most photography opportunities.So, bottom line is that for the money I paid for it, I don't think I could possibly complain. This is a great general purpose lens that may not excel in all areas but does mean that you will have at your hands a capable tool for most photography trips without thinking too much about it.

Das Objektiv ist sehr wertig verarbeitet und deckt einen beeindruckenden Brennweiten-Bereich ab. Die Lichtstärke ist in Ordnung und die Bildschärfe ist auch ok.Bei 24mm zwar deutlich weniger scharf als mein 24-70 f4, ab 35mm dann aber durchaus gut. Bei schwachem Licht ist der Autofokus an der A7 II eher langsam, bei gutem Licht aber zügig und treffsicher.Also das perfekte Immer-Drauf Objektiv? Für mich nicht.Dem Vollformat geschuldet ist das Objektiv sehr schwer und groß. Die Kamera wird ziemlich kopflastig. Da ich die Kamera damit eher am Objektiv halte, ist für mich auch das Zoomen nicht ohne umzugreifen möglich. Die Kamera wird in Summe deutlich unhandlicher und schwerfälliger verglichen mit dem 24-70mm f4 Standardzoom.Ob es das geeignete Objektiv ist hängt meiner Meinung nach vor allem vom Einsatz-Szenario ab.Für ein immer-drauf ist es mir zu schwer. Und ich persönlich brauche die lange Brennweite, wenn überhaupt, dann vor allem für Tier- und Naturaufnahmen bei Wanderungen.Dafür aber ist die Kamera-Objektiv Kombination mit der A7 II für mich zu schwer und groß. Zudem brauche ich in dieser Situation weder das Freistell-Potential noch die Lichtstärke des Vollformat-Systems.Ich denke ich werde mir für diesen Zweck eher eine Olympus M10 II mit Superzoom (28-300mm äquiv.) zulegen [1].Das kostet in Summe ähnlich viel oder weniger als das SEL24240 alleine. Die Kombination ist viel kompakter und handlicher und deckt eben diesen Einsatzbereich besser ab.Anbei auch Bilder des SEL24240 an einer A7 II damit man sich ein Bild von der Größe des Objektivs an der Kamera machen kann.[1] -

sehr gutes Reise-zoom!Für Sony E-Mount bisher das Beste Universal-Zoom. Ist offenbar neu gerechnet und endlich auch sehr gut gefertigt - war bisher das große Sony Manko!Sogar der "Makrobereich" (0,5 - 0,8 m) liefert recht überzeugende Qualität (nur bei 240 probiert) - für unterwegs doch schon recht befriedigend, muß das zusätzliche Makroobjektiv (Canon 100L über King Adapter) nur noch selten schleppen!Ist dem Tamron 28x300 (über King Adapter) an Qualität nahezu ebenbürtig! Dafür funktioniert beim Sony aber der AF einwandfrei und schnell.Das SEL24240 ist (gefühlt) gleich schwer, wie das Tamron mit Adapter. Das Sony hat einen größeren Durchmesser, der aber noch nicht stört (72 Filter Durchmesser gegen 67 beim Tamron).Übermäßige Verzeichnungen und Vignettierungen, wie in einem Vorserien-test zu lesen, kann ich nicht bestätigen. Diese Fehler liegen unter dem Durchschnitt anderer Universal Zooms. Nur das Tamron 28-300 ist da etwas besser...Natürlich sind derartige Objektive für professionelle Architektur Photos weniger gut geeignet - da sind immer Festbrennweiten vorzuziehen.Meine Testaufnahmen zeigen sogar ein QualitätsPlus gegenüber dem sog. Zeiss 24-70, das überteuert und speziell im WW Bereich extrem abfällt. Ich werde das 24-70 gelegentlich verkaufen, da es bei Blende 4 nicht gut genug ist und ich dank meiner Alpha 7s nicht mehr so Lichtstärke Abhängig bin....
