This high-speed network standard offers ten times faster transfer rates as a conventional Gigabit Ethernet connection. Few computers are factory equipped with a 10GbE network interface. Our Twin 10G adapter is an extremely powerful and cost effective way to extend your Thunderbolt 3 Mac® or Windows® computer with 10Gbps Ethernet. The Twin 10G Thunderbolt 3 adapter is equipped with two RJ45 sockets through which it can be connected with cost-effective CAT-6 (up to 55 m) and CAT-6A (up to 100 m) cables with 10 GbE infrastructures. The Thunderbolt 3 Edition of the Twin 10G Thunderbolt 3 Adapter features two Thunderbolt 3 (USB-C) ports to connect to the computer and connect to other devices such as a Daisy Chain device. In addition, the Twin 10G adapter supports up to two 60Hz 4K screens or a 60Hz 5K screen. The second Thunderbolt 3 port can also be powered devices with up to 15 W.
