A high-quality V-mount battery base. I use V-mount batteries, and NP-F batteries often. Currently, I have this Sirui V-mount attachment on a magnetic ball head for use on my overhead camera rig, but it could just as easily be used on a camera cage, tripod, or c-stand (additional parts may be needed). I appreciate the extended unlock arm, and everything I’ve tried fitting into this mount has worked perfectly. Overall, it's a quality product that I look forward to using.

I am using this with a clamp to hold a 50W V-Mount battery on a stand which powers a small light fixture. The V-Mount with the clamp keeps things secure to the stand without adding to much bulk to my travel bag. The all metal construction ensures this will not break and it well represents the quality that I have come to expect from SIRUI.

Simplicity. That’s what I am constantly searching for in building and rearranging my video kit. But these days there are a zillion different mounting styles and plates. It gets messy, fast. This little guy is here to combat that.The mini quick release V mount base and plate allow you to convert most accessories into the v mount system. Both pieces are easy to install and come with the wrench to secure them. Once in place, you can give it a good shake and it won’t rattle. It provides a secure fit and an easy push lever release.I am using mine to mount a battery adapter to a light pole because my back light doesn’t have a place natively for a battery to rest. It works great and allows me to remove the battery adapter freely from my light post to my camera as needed (I have another v mount base on my cage.)I highly recommend this small but powerful upgrade.

I didn't realize this was a problem until I got this mount and tried it next to a couple of other mounts that I have. Pictured is the Tilta small v-mount bracket next to the sirui. Note the length of the button. If you have your bracket mounted flush to anything, and then a battery mounted to that, you only have the width of the bracket to get your finger in there to depress the button. With this model, the button sticks out beyond the side of the battery, making it easy to depress. I have only two minor issues with the unit, one is the number of attachment options. I like that the tilta has locator pins and multiple screw holes. The other is that they don't provide you with screws for both plates, only for one of the two provided plates, and no extra 1/4 20 screws.

This Mini V Mount Battery Base and Wedge Plate Kit by SIRUI Model AM-VM04 is of excellent build quality!Everything about this plate is solidly executed to ensure durability and longevity and I love the fact that SIRUI has included not 1 but 2 different V-Lock Wedges making it user ready straight out the box while making the user experience a smooth one; ensuring their product compatibility is a vast one. The installation was pretty straight forward and an easy one though I did have an issue tightening the wedge down. I ordered this to mount an NP battery plate to my tripods by way of a super clamp. Sirui suggest screwing the 1/4 screw through the NP plate and then the wedge but I couldn't get it tight this way so I did the reverse and had no issues at all getting it tight within a few twist.Overall I'm very pleased with this v-mount plate by SIRUI. The quick release is solid and easy to use and the overall value is excellent making this v-mount plate one to highly considered.
