I sized up for my daughters shorts she usually wears 6-9 in clothes but I bought size 12 because usually in biker shorts they are more tighter. I really love the quality and how they are not see through compare to when I bought her one in store. I love that they are up to her knees and not above where it shows her pamper.

I bought these shorts in the 12 month size or my 11 month old, who is small for her age (16 lbs). They were snug out of the package, but then I washed them before the first wear (as many parents do) and they got even smaller, to the point they didn't fit at all. Unfortunately I was not able to return them at that point since they had been washed.Skip these and buy the Amazon Essentials Unisex Babies' Cotton Pull-On Shorts instead, which are incredibly soft and stretchy with loose leg openings.

These are so cute! I especially love the little "jean" shorts!! But the sizing is way off. My baby just turned 6 months and she wears a mix of 3-6 and 6-9. I ordered these shorts in 12 month size because I wanted some growing room, but they are almost too small on her now! She's not even big for her age, she's just average sized. There's no way these would fit any 12 month old baby. So, I recommend ordering one size bigger at least, or 2 sizes bigger if you want some breathing room
