I ordered this for camping. It is a perfect-sized plate with high edges that will double as a bowl. Typically, I prefer double-walled cups and bowls because hot items will cool quickly in titanium, and it can be difficult to hold the hot item with my hands. This bowl comes with a mesh bag to store it in when not in use. Titanium is very durable, stronger than steel, and doesn't rust, but it scratches easily, so the mesh bag is nice.This bowl is made of lightweight titanium. It doesn't rush and works great for beach camping, where salt quickly corrodes other metals, and the high heat makes most plastics too flexible. This bowl has an odd 'galvanized looking' finish. I've never seen titanium with this type of finish before. I generally prefer the matte silver titanium look. I graded this bowl down one star because of a rough spot where the top is rolled over on itself. Either the titanium wasn't cut precisely, or the rolling process didn't fold it under properly. I took a roto tool and ground off the burr. This bowl is not finished to a high degree, but the value pricing for an item like this makes this bowl a good one for camping.

Endlich eine Titan Schüssel, in die nicht nur 2,5 Esslöffel Inhalt passen.Leider bisher nicht doppelwandig erhältlich.Die Schüssel ist im Gegensatz zu eigentlich allen anderen Titanschüsseln groß. Normalerweise sind die Schüsseln eher große Fingerhüte, hier in diese passt endlich auch mal etwas rein. Sehr gut.Die Verarbeitung ist sehr gut und durch die kristallisierte Struktur schaut das Titan nicht einfach nur langweilig grau aus. Das gefällt mir sehr gut.Das Material scheint dicker zu sein als bei anderen Tellern / Schüsseln / Schälchen aus "normalem" Titan.Das stört aber nicht, da das Gewicht nicht signifikant höher ist.Für "kalte" Speisen ist die Schüssel super geeignet, für "heiße" eher nicht. Das liegt nicht daran das die Schüssel das nicht verträgt, sondern daran das einem dann die Finger zu heiß werden.Also lieber Hersteller, bringt die 800er bitte unbedingt auch in Doppelwandig auf den Markt.Ich bin sicher nicht der Einzige, der da sofort "zuschlagen" würde :)

The SILVERANT titanium camping bowl is my first time experiencing a titanium bowl. It is pretty light for a bowl which works great if you're on the move carrying it. The provided mesh bag really helps allow you to carry it around and dry while on the go.The crystallized style of this bowl is not something I expected since most of the time the metal bowls are just shiny or matte metal.I found the bowl to be a perfect size. I have the 800ml one. There is a smaller size available. There is no “lid” provided, but if you buy the matching plate then you can cover the bowl to keep the bugs out of your bowl of food.The bowl is very easy to clean and hopefully will stay that way even after long use for camping.

I go backcountry camping where I have to pack and carry everything for long distances, and as a result, I'm always looking to shave a few grams off my load. I already have a large cup/small pot in titanium, but its shape is not always ideal to eat out of, and a bit problematic when you're sharing meals by a fire. The bowl is a great size and shape, with walls that come almost vertical by the top, which means your contents are more likely to stay in your bowl, rather than on the ground. You can also use it as a large cup in a pinch, to sip broth or hot drinks (see below, be careful because of heat transfer).The material isn't like the usual dull grey titanium that I'm used to - this appears more like a galvanized steel with small flecks of reflective surfaces, although the flecks don't have texture themselves, the entire surface feels even, and there's an overall bit of texture like a non-stick pan.This bowl is super sturdy, and while not ultralight, it's about on a par with some plastic bowls of the same size, with the added bonus of not melting should you need it for some emergency cooking. Since it's titanium, heat transfer is very good, but it also means that in cold weather, the contents will cool quicker, and the bowl will be very hot to hold if you have hot contents - there's an included warning to be careful when dealing boiling water.The lip is folded over with a substantial rim, so you can use a pot holder to grip it for very hot contents or cooking, or for things like extending your reach to scoop up some lake water (please remember to do your dishes away from the lake, though!).There's another ridge around the base which seems less than ideal — while it gives more stability when putting the bowl down, the fact that there's an inner groove makes for a bit more fiddling about when cleaning. Nothing a bit more care with a sponge or brush can't handle, but every little bit helps in the woods.It comes with a good quality double-layer mesh bag that's slightly padded and a few instructions.

Surprisingly light weight for a titanium bowl Flecked appearance its durable and easy to wash. Comes with a handy mesh carrying bag. Use it to cook with or eat out of. Sure to with stand any camping outing. It would benefit from an attachable handle when using it to cook with.
