I have used this device for a season and a half now. It is very accurate and comfortable to wear. The "Last Shot" function is difficult to get to, but otherwise the device is great.

I found this an easy watch to use. It guides you through the various processes and gives me all the information I need for my level of golf. Thank you very much.

I'm a caddie at a U.S. Open golf course, so I'm expected to perform like a looper on the PGA Tour. While I make no claims to that high level of skill, I'm a pretty decent club caddie. Part of the job is to provide fast and accurate yardages to my player(s), so a reliable golf GPS watch is an invaluable tool.Recently, I had to replace a poorly-designed instrument which stopped working, and so tried out three different brands and models. This Shot Scope G3 was the clear winner. Here's why:1. Right out of the box, after initial setup with the smartphone app, I had dead-on yardages at three different golf courses, including the one where I loop. (I didn't get even that basic performance from the other two brands tested.)2. "No Frills" doesn't mean this watch skimps on the provided info. It gives me distances to the middle, back, and front of each green, plus distances to the hazards on the hole I'm on. There's no color touchscreen, pin placement manipulation, cardio readouts, or other stuff I don't need to do my job.3. It's "user-friendly", which means I figured out how to make the watch do what I needed without a 3-hour tech class. The buttons and functions are intuitive and easy to remember.4. I like the low-profile look and comfortable band. It easily adjusts to be worn over a long-sleeve pullover or bare wrist, without cutting off circulation.5. The charging clamp, attached to a regular USB connector, seems robust enough to last. (I would have liked an option to buy a replacement charging cable and watchband via Amazon or via the manufacturer in the user's guide.)I noted just a few minor vices:1. Like most golf GPS watches, if I'm wearing golf gloves (which I usually do while caddying during the pandemic) the glove can push a button changing holes or calling up hazard info. It only takes a second to return to the right screen, so I can live with this.2. The wristband is a bit clunky in its securing mechanism, but time will tell if it's going to wear out faster than a regular style band would.BOTTOM LINE: So far, so good. If anything changes, I will update this review!
