Had problems with the fluffy trimmed version of this rubbing my mares mouth area raw when it got wet so thought I’d try this. Does exactly as it’s meant to and slows her grazing right down, something that’s a must with an EMS laminitic prone horse. The only thing I would say is it isn’t as long as the fluffy muzzle, even when fully extended on all parts it’s only on the Velcro by maybe just over an inch. For your standard horse it would be fine but for your heavy horses you may find the same problem as me.For reference I’m using this on a 17.3hh Percheron who usually has X Full head collars.
