I was helping a friend with a bathroom reno - and between gluing down the tub surround and doing all the caulking, I thought this would be a great time saver (and hand-saver). Alas, it just didn't work the way one would really want. I think a daily-use professional would find this more trouble than its worth (especially the goofy battery & charger arrangement). For the DIYer, it's also more trouble than it's worth - I switched to a manual gun after 10 minutes trying to use it for the tub surround. Unless you're in that sweet spot where the lower price of the tool compared to professional units is worth it to save your hand, I don't think it's worth it.

Vier Sterne, weil die Dichtmittelpistole beschädigt war. Die Lieferung erfolgte wie immer schnell.Die Pistole macht sonst einen guten Eindruck. Sie ist robust gefertigt, liegt gut in der Hand. Ich habe sie aber wegen des abgebrochenen Rückzuggriff zurück geschickt. Hab mir aber eine neue in den Warenkorb gelegt. Nach erfolgter Rückzahlung werde ich sie wieder kaufen. Wird hoffentlich nicht wieder eine defekte versendet.

Das Gerät hat mich positiv überrascht. Hätte nicht geglaubt, dass mit 4 AA-Batterien so ein Gerät lange zu betreiben ist.Habe schon mehr als 15 Kleberkartuschen mit einem Batteriesatz leergepresst, ohne dass Ermüdungserscheinungen (der Batterien) feststellbar sind. Für den Hausgebrauch, aber auch für den Professionisten ist diese Pistole ein Gewinn. Auch die LED-Beleuchtung ist gut. Ein Akkugerät ist für mich nicht notwendig und wäre nicht sinnvoll, vor allem dann, wenn die Pistole länger nicht gebraucht wird. Würde so ein Gerät wieder kaufen. Unbedingt empfehlenswert, auch wenn nur eine Auspressgeschwindigkeit vorhanden ist, aber immerhin ausreicht.

this electric caulk gun is straight up a game changer for my DIY projects. the 4 speed settings are pretty sweet and the auto retract feature keeps things from getting all messy and drippy everywhere - way better than them manual guns that leave strings of caulk all over. battery life is solid and the deep blue color makes it look professional, but ima probably add some custom grip tape to make it more my style. only thing that bugs me is the trigger is a bit sensitive at first, but after a few tries you get used to it and can lay down some real clean lines.

Hab mir das Teil gekauft weil ich nicht regelmäßig verfuge und somit eine kostengünstige Alternative gesucht und gefunden habe. Was ich auch vorteilhaft finde dass man AA Batterien verwendet und somit die aufwendige aufladung wegfällt.( Wenn mans braucht ist der Akku leer.) Gleichmässiger Materialauftrag ist möglich und die Led Beleuchtung ist ein nützliches Gadget.

Like the other Seesii tools I have this one also works fine with Makita batteries. AT rest the Makita batteries typical read just over 20 volts even though they are rated at 18 volts. Seesii previously told me that it was safe to run their 20 volt tools with Makita batteries. For me this is a big deal i I can use my Makita batteries and not have to buy another proprietary battery.I have only used this gun a few times. It generally works well. It doe snot have an active retraction mechanism when the trigger is released. It does allow the pressure in the tube to push the plunger back when the trigger is released.The is a small tab at the back end of the plunger that stops the tool at the end of the stroke. You can see where this goes into the body of the gun where it triggers a switch. I can see dirt, caulk, or other debris getting in here and causing problems. I think they could design this feature a little better to reduce the potential for problems.

With the manual method of caulking, I can get that first section down, but whether the excess continues to squeeze out or I don't return pressure fast enough, my caulking effort starts to go south on me ... so between using too much, and just making a mess, something had to change. My first caulking effort with this gun has definitely yielded better results. I did practice a little out in the garage first, but returning to the tub was able to do some perfect consistent lines that resulting in a nice sealing between the tub and tile, with an amazingly little amount left on my rags, fingers and pants. This gun will pay for itself over time in the amount of caulking I apparently waste. Next up, re-doing the baseboards, that should be a breeze now.updated 12/21, still a better job than I can do, but am finding that it is slow to resume which tends to lead to a blob when you resume again, so you really want to get as much distance complete as you can before releasing the trigger. While I appreciate that the gun doesn't leak extra when you stop, It'd be nice if it could more quickly resume.
