At first when I received these post I was quite pleased with how light ithey were. When I started using it to cook I began to realize that these two pots are simply TOO THIN. The large pot, when filled with just 700mls of water was sagging under the weight of the water and would take no time at all to pull the rivets loose that were securing the handle. To aggravate that concern I prepared a quick instant meal of boil water add the envelope boil for 7 min. Ive cooked the dish with some of my smaller pots, was no problem simmering at my lowest heat setting. The smaller pot had to be constantly stirred and even while I was constantly attending the cooking food it scorched to the bottom of the pan.While these pots were very light, I dont think they would survive in a pack or similar environment. It would be ok in a chuck box maybe but you'ld have to have a very low heat setting. Frankly I wouldnt recomend this product to anyone.These two pots have since been thrown away as they couldnt tolerate daily use in my trailer. Never took them out on the trail with me.
