Scott Oilers have always been on the high end of the price range. They have a reputation for working well and being easy to use once installed. Installation is a challenge see the pictures I had to add and modify my motorcycle to have a good mounting place for the Scott Oiler. If Scott would have put the electrical connection on the other side of the reservoir, it would’ve been much easier for me to place on my Japanese bike, which has the chain on the left. If you have a chain on the right side, then it would be perfect for many installations since the frame will have tubing that directs the electrical wire away from the outside of the bike. Also in my picture is included an old squeeze bottle from the 2000s and as well as that squeeze bottle works, It is certainly not as convenient as the Scott Oiler. Definitely recommended.

This item is the current top-end Scotoiler 3.0, served with biodegradable green oil. If not familiar with the product, take time to visit the manufacturer's website and discover the merits of using a chain oiler over manually cleaning and re-oiling the chain. This oiler uses about 2.2 ounces of oil per 1,000 miles, periodically adding oil to the chain. The excess is flung off while riding, along with dirt and other contaminants to keep the chain debris-free in most conditions. Using biodegradable oil keeps roads clean and reduces pollution reaching rivers and streams.The kit includes the oiler and 250ml of the biodegradable oil, enough for approximately 5,000 miles of riding. There is a wide variety of Scotoiler products sold by Amazon, check them out to find the one best suited for your riding use and style.

Took me about an hour and a half to fit, prime and be road ready. Qualitycomponents and absolutely everything you need is in the kit, very comprehensive. This will help the bike chains last longer and the settings can also be changed with the buttons on the item to adjust the flow of the oil and for others things as well.
