The various stamp materials are all soft, and let you see which type you prefer. The tools do the job. It's a great way to get into carving before spending money on better carving tools etc.Moreover, if you just need to carve a few stamps, it's perfect.

The lino blocks are soft to carve but not as squishy as the softcut lino or the pink Speedball lino. They are more plastic than rubber. They print great. You could do a multi block reduction print with them by hand without worrying too much about poor regristration due to the material splaying when you put press on it to transfer the print to the paper. The round medallions are just fin and rhe extra tools are ok. I teach linocutting to complete beginners and they had good results. Give it a try.

This came exactly as pictured! All the tools were perfect. The tools provided are really perfect. Obviously there are so many sizes but they really chose the best ones for any use. I used the square ones for this project. I bought some sweatshirts and sweatpants and carved different size/shaped trees to make us some Christmas pajamas. Kit was easy to use and the stamps were perfectly sized. I’m now using the stamps to make my Valentine’s cards
