Excelente para acampar,es una hoja que necesita personalización,lijar y barnizar el mango,amolar y pulir el filo,cubrir con Wilson tape el mango para mejor agarre,pero una vez que le imprimes carácter,es un Tomahawk muy confiable,agarra un filo tremendo y tiene el peso ideal para ser un hacha campera de 2 manos,es pesado para ser un tomahawk pero precisamente es la intención,ser un intermedio entre un tomahawk y un hacha de leñador

I have both the Kangee and the Chogan and have used the Kangee extensively for several years now. The steel is great and the overall design makes for a useful camp tool. I personally don't like the varnish on the handle as it comes from the factory but it's easy to remove and put a better finish on like raw linseed oil that is less slippery and won't cause blisters as easily. I also recommend polishing a very slight bevel on the inside of the head where it slides up against the end of the handle so it doesn't shave the wood off as you tap it on. Other than that they are great. Easy to sharpen to a near razor edge and good edge retention after that.

The steel in the head is good, seems well-tempered and takes a decent edge. I haven't used it enough to know how long it'll hold that edge, but I expect that the tomahawk as a whole will be durable and useful based on its construction. The cutting edge is large enough to get a good bite on the target medium, and the geometry enables that cut. The spike on the back goes through plywood handily and is shaped for penetration. If you're using it as a weapon, you should find that it goes through clothing easily, and might even penetrate a substantial amount of Kevlar. I don't know what you'd use the spike for in construction or other purposes, though I'm sure it'll open any can you care to punch it into. The balance is good, feels light in my hand and the haft is long enough to be used with two hands if you really needed to hack into something. Good value for the price.

This is a great Tomahawk well worth the money, outstanding quality, just had to put a razor sharp edge on it and it is ready to go. I would highly recommend it, I've really worked this T-Hawk from chopping to throwing to dragging logs and even to strike my ferro rod to start my camp fires.
