Das 7 mm dicke Material aus SBR/Neopren schützt den Rücken vor Überlastungen und kann Verletzungen vorbeugen. Die Kompression des Rückengurtes wärmt die Rückenmuskulatur und bietet die nötige Stabilisation. I wanted a belt that would provide optimal back support and posture as I lift. I do have weight lifting belts, but I am at that point now where I feel they aren't just doing it for me anymore...like they did in my 20's. Right out of the package, I can just feel the quality in it, the material is sturdy and feels like it's not going to stretch out or wear itself out over time.Having it on for just the first few reps of squats, I could totally feel a difference in support. It feels as if I have no choice but to maintain posture as I move. Being nice and snug, I don't feel it try to move even the slightest at all as I work through each series of reps, even as I can feel it get warm and am pretty sure I am sweating underneath. Also really like that it also doesn't take up much space in my gym bag at all. In between washes, I just wipe it down with soap and water in a spray bottle. I do wash it in a mesh laundry bag and air dry, as the instructions say to do.Overall, totally worth it if you are someone who do need the back support, whether for working out or doing some work around the house.

Received the belt last week and I've been using it for different activities. Initially I thought it might be a great belt for lifting weights as I enjoy working out on a semi consistent basis. I've also wanted it for moving boxes and furniture, as we are still working on getting everything into our new house. I thought it might be great for that. That's why the purchase.Couple of things right off the bat. This is NOT a heavy duty belt, when it comes to support belts. It, however, is very lightweight and comfortable. I'm 5' 10" and weight right at 165 lbs. The large barely fits around me. Fortunately, although snug, it's just about right on. Good thing because the adjustable Velcro doesn't give much adjustability. Maybe about 5 inches, which isn't very much for a back support belt. If you're looking to tighten it up, that might be a problem too...as the ability to tighten is definitely hindered by the width of the Velcro patch.If you're looking to use this belt as a back support for daily use, or lightweight moving, I think it will be great. As stated above, I've been using it for boxes and some lighter furniture. Because of the comfort and easy useability, I've been able to wear it for extended periods. If you're looking for a belt that supports your back for heavy lifting jobs, I'd go with a more robust belt. One with more rigid, thicker, heavier materials. I just don't trust this belt for my heavy back lifting days. For me this isn't that belt. That's the only reason I didn't give it 5 stars.So, in ending, it really depends on what you need the belt for. If it's daily uses...go for it. Awesome belt. For any really heavy lifting, I wouldn't trust it to prevent injuries. Go with a more robust, leather type, true support belt that you can really tighten up when needed.All in all...nice belt for many activates, but not the heavy stuff. 4 STARS

Love this back support! I have a history of ruptured discs that get cranky. This Neoprene belt fits perfectly to add protection without discomfort. Materials breathe well so no sticky clinging. Great add for peace of mind when doing yard work or recuperating from an injury. I got the large, which fits nicely for someone 150 pounds or so. Larger folks may want go order the XL. I received a free sample, and this is my own opinion.

I ordered the large size as recommended for my lower back, but I found the it was a bit snug on me and difficult to put on. It provides a little bit of support for my lumbar area, but isn’t comfortable to wear for long periods of time.
