I fitted a pair of these RCAWD Active or LSD diffs on my Arrma Infraction and 1st of all… when I opened my alloy diff housing which had been fitted with the original Arrma diffs, I removed the diff and shims with the original diffs and replaced the input shaft from the kit using no shims on the input shaft and left and right output dogbone cup bearings the input and diff unit fitted my Scorched RC alloy diff housings without any shims 1st time assembly and as u can se in the picture the gear mesh it exact…2nd point, now the RCAWD active diff kits are in use the drifting is now much more controlled. Especially when ground is slightly damp I use my car at night in an empty supermarket car park and it eats tyres I have used a set up on these Active diffs, so must say diffsare also a Solid Built Product since fitting and using tyres up the slop on the input and output shafts are still as tightly meshed as the day I fitted the units, I would love to try an RCAWD active center diff at the same time as these Front and Rear LSD’s that are in just now.They are Well worth the money since the Arrma GP4 active diff is £65 without spiral cut and the GP4 diff housing is still made of plastic not anodised red alloy like these diffs, If serious RC’er and own an Arrma if u are looking at this review get these!!!
