For the price, this product exceeded my expectations. However, there’s a 2.5-degree discrepancy from the advertised specifications (e.g., 30 degrees measures as 32.5 degrees). Additionally, the machined indents and stencil are slightly misaligned.

Finally assembled and used this blade sharpener for the first time and after taking some time to get it all setup and adjusted properly, I’m actually blown away with this thing so farI used to own a landscaping company for 20 years and we used a sharpener that cost over $1,000 and we happily paid that price because of its precision. While this grinder isn’t quite as quick as the expensive one, it’s arguably just as precise at sharpening blades and I’m curious to see how long it will hold up to regular useI’d go as far as saying that the homeowner that likes doing things themselves and even the landscaper that’s mowing lawns part time would be extremely happy with this piece

all the parts and pieces are well made - not a burr in sight. the arm is a little stiff but i bet i can smoothen it up some with some machine oil.overall it functions as it should and made sharpening my mower blades easy!i used my vice to keep it in place and that worked just fine. also used with a makita angle grinder.only downside is the detents dont really line up to the etched numbers. if i want 30 degree angle for example, the detent will put it between 30 and 35.otherwise, great price, good quality materials, and does the job.

Absolutely superb piece of equipment has improved my blade sharpening massively highly recommended in fact if you’re trying to do it by freehand stop what you’re doing right now and order one of these
