The overall build and finish quality are very good and you will notice this straight away.Another thing you'll notice straight away, when trying to insert the pad into the plastic support, is that it is a bit hard due to the stiffness of the plastic, but it's all plain sailing after this.There are many aspects to the stretcher which give a sensation of wellbeing, like the stretching effect when lying over it and stretching our backs is something we tend to do naturally every now and then when filling stiff, it is the warm relaxing feeling that the heated function gives, plus the massage from the acupressure points.I use this on the floor, as well as when sitting on the chair and on the chair I don't necessarily use it for the stretching effect but more for the strong back support that it offers and I definitely keep my back straight when having this on the chair. The downside of using it this way is that even on the lower setting it's taken up some of the chair space and the seating area is diminished so I'm not able to use it for long hours due to loss of seating space. For this reason, another great location to use it is on the sofa as I do not have the sitting area issue, and with a pillow behind my head I am holding a perfectly straight back.

I often get back ache and muscle tension in my back probably partly due to having to walk with a stick because of my disability. This Lyfe Focus Back Stretcher offered a potential way to alleviate the discomfort and hopefully improve posture etc.The strecher comes with the main Orange / Black plastic frame, a heated back cushsion and a USB power pack with a wired temperature / timer which connects to the heating element in the cushion. The power pack has an LED display which shows the remaining power.The cushion locks into place over the frame by sliding it into clips at each end with adjustments for how much you want to arch your back over it. It is recommended you start on the shallowest position and caution is suggested before raising it to it's most severe height. It does need quite considerable force to lock into position but after doing so it seems securely located. The cushion / pad can be heated for comfort by attaching the battery pack and selecting the desired heat setting -35 to 50 degrees from the controller. A timer for the heater can also be set using the controller from 10 to 30 mins too.The power pack does seem to drain quite quickly - especially when the higher heat settings and time is used - although it is quite high capacity (10,000mAh) which you could (in theory) use for other purposes having a number of USB ports ('A' and 'C') on it such as an emergency power backup for your phone etc.I've found it takes some getting used to and have only been using it for a short time but I'm hoping it will provide long term benefit by using it regularly. It boasts 86 acupressure and 10 magnetic therapy points and the cushion / pad can be washed as long as the heating element is removed first (there is a zip on the side of it to enable this).So far I'm impressed with this and for £22.15 I think it is worth the money and I hope to see some benefit from regular use.

I love the idea of this, it does work and is supportive.I don't lie on it though, I use it seated behind my back as heated support, and it works well for that as it keeps your back nicely upright.Only thing is I don't like is the power bank needed to heat this.It won't work plugged in directly to a plug socket, or when you need to charge the power bank.The power bank also doesn't last that long, it drains quite quickly.The actual back rest is well made and good quality and can take weight as it's stable and sturdy once you get it into place.And when it's heated, it does work well.But the method of heating, the power bank, lets it down in my opinion.

I have osteoporosis and osteoarthritis in my lower back, which causes pain in itself, but also results in quite a lot of muscle tension, adding another type of pain on top.Given my skeletal issues, I haven't pushed the back-stretching capabilities of this product to its limits, so I've chosen to leave it on the lowest setting.It is quite difficult pulling it into even this setting, so I don't know how much harder it would be to pull it further into the slots for the higher settings, and I wasn't keen on testing this, given how difficult it was to set it in level 1, but once set, it doesn't take up much extra space to store it like this, so it's not something that has to be done every time. It does feel exceptionally sturdy.Lying on the floor and using as a back stretcher, this did help stretch my knotted lumbar muscles, and I will use it regularly for this purpose. The heated cover is useful for both sources of pain, and it comes with a power bank, so it can be used anywhere.Aside from regular back stretching exercises, it also functions well as a heated back support in a chair, and comes with a strap for this purpose.Considering this product comes with the heated cover and power bank, and is only marginally more expensive than the unheated version, it seems to be really good value.

I have been using this to slowly stretch my back and open my chest/rib muscles. It has helped quite a lot using it for 10 minutes each day and moving it around every couple of minutes, especially the heat feature. It's great that it comes with its own power pack and you don't need to plug it in, makes it really portable. If you are a heavier person like myself be careful not to put your full weight on it whilst moving as it
