UPDATE:I've talked to support and they are replacing this faulty cable. I think the product itself isn't great if it breaks that quickly but Rode is really good about replacing this item.IMPORTANT: It is good to know that this MiCon cable has been discontinued so if you're looking to repair your current mic you might want to reconsider and use the money towards a different lavalier mic. This might be the last time you can replace the cable.---------------- ORIGINAL REVIEW ----------------I purchased this to replace the old cable that came with my Rode Hs1, Less than a year later and the cable is faulty again. I only have light studio use with this thing so it is quite disappointing. These cables are sold for a premium yet they can't last very long. This will definitely be a consideration when it comes time to upgrade the mic.

Kind of a great design because the cable is much cheaper to replace than the whole lav mic. So glad I didn’t have to do that. A new cable worked for me.

Feels cheap and prone to break. Not pro gear, so a bit overpriced. Make sure to tighten the connection with the provided tool if you experience signal dropout or no signal at all.

Optimale Lieferzeiten trotz weihnachtlicher Paketeflut; wird im Rahmen von Videoproduktionen als Adapter für Anschlüsse verwendet. Sehr gute Qualität.

Am iPhone 5s + IOS 9 liefert das Kabel mit dem PinMic ein gutes Aufnahmeergebnis.Zu beachten sind zwei Punkte:1. laut Rode ist eine winzige Kupplung, die den MiCon 11 und das PinMic verbindet in der Packung enthalten (nicht so auf dem Bild) und leider auch nicht bei der Erstanlieferung. Auf Nachfrage hat der Lieferant dann aber sofort nachgeliefert.2. Wenn das PinMic über den MiCon angeschlossen ist, werden die iPhone internen Lautsprecher leider ebenfalls tot geschaltet, so dass das Kabel zum Abhören abgezogen werden muss.Anmerkung:Die Rode App ist sicherlich ganz gut, aber mir gefällt die App von Apogee "MetaRecorder" noch besser, da damit unterschiedliche Takes und Scenes und sogar auch Marker direkt in den Metadaten abgespeichert werden können. FCPX User freut das ganz besonders.
