Lots of pieces to play with and keep em busy….the velcro pieces on the back of a few of the shapes have fell off, can be dangerous if your little ones tend to want to eat everything

So we bought the zoo and love the size and variety of animals and habitat things like rocks and grass bits. But the sticky adhesive for the wall hooks failed immediately, the first time our son pulled on it (and not using his crazy full toddler yank strength). So we taped the whole background up with wide 3M blue painters tape.The other way more annoying and dangerous thing is none of the Velcro round stickies on the backs of the animals and habitat things stays on. Like at all. They came off almost immediately also. It seems like the wrong or poor application of glue to the felt pieces. Our toddler of course then put the Velcro round in his mouth but since we were sitting right with him, we were able to get it out right away and avoid an ER visit 😵💫. So watch out to other parents. I’ll be apparently stitching all the felt animals and habitat things to better Velcro on the sewing machine in batches at night. 😣

This child LOVES the zoo. After being pestered day in a row to go to the zoo, this calmed her down. She places the animals in their areas and then moves them around, playing with them. She says it’s better than the zoo because she can touch them!

Initially I wanted something for the kids to just enjoy in their room where we would just talk about the creatures. Now it has become a story mat where the kids love to tell their very animated stories about all the creatures. The mat is large enough where both my kids can play with minimal fights, especially given the amount of creatures and scenery provided. The bright and colorful felt characters are pretty sturdy and definitely are doing well when in the hands of a 3 and 4 year old. The stickers that are on the back are stuck on there pretty good unlike some other toys I’ve tried. I especially like that it gives you the option to have as floor play or even to be hung up on the wall (sticky hooks are even included). Overall I would highly recommend to kids who have a wild imagination and love showing off their little story time fun.
