This bayonet-mount lens hood protects the lens from stray light and prevents or limits lens flare, resulting in better contrast and image quality.I expected it to be heavier because of the metal material, but I was surprised by how light it was.I like how well it complements the compatible Voigtlander lenses that come from the ULTRON and NOKTON Vintage lines. It also effectively reduced lens flare and glare, allowing me to capture images with greater contrast and clarity, especially in low-light conditions.Furthermore, the square bayonet design provided optimal coverage for the lens and served as a reliable protective barrier.Also, its sleek silver finish enhanced the aesthetics of the lenses, adding a touch of sophistication to my photography setup. However, the same silver finish made it more prone to visible scratches and blemishes over time.Overall, my thoughts on the design may or may not be looked at as a flaw by others. I still believe in the valuable benefits of this lens hood, which reduces lens flare and glare while also providing additional protection for Voigtlander lenses.

Fits the lens perfectly offering both shade and protection for the glass, whilst I was sent this free to test my only reservation would be the price as it is very expensive for such a small hood though that may be due to the relative scarcity of the lens it is intended for resulting in lower production runs.That said, it does feel premium and looks very much OEM when fitted.
